Given the situation Forest are in at the moment with the points deduction we did not know how they were going to react.
They did well to come back against Palace at the weekend and have made a positive performance from the start tonight against Fulham.
They have got the momentum here and look like they will continue to build on it.

A video of Phillips making an offensive hand gesture to West Ham fans after Saturday's game is a sad insight into how he feels about things, too. It is quite clear that he's struggling off the pitch, as well as on it. It must be so difficult for him after making a move that he will have hoped would revive his career. Instead, his reputation is in tatters and he's being caught swearing at upset fans.
I feel so sorry for him. We all know how good he can be on his day, we've all seen it from his time at Leeds and with England. But perhaps this was the wrong move him, with so much expectation and pressure that comes with playing for a club fighting for a top-seven finish.
His performances in claret and blue haven't been good enough, granted, but the abuse sent his way is, in my opinion, unfair. He's clearly struggling and, in a time where we're trying to encourage men to be more open about their mental health, the events during and after Saturday's game are counter-productive to that movement.
The best thing for him is for David Moyes to remove him from the spotlight, give him the help he needs behind the scenes and for fans to get off his back.
Burnley 0-0 Wolves
Some good play from Burnley. Wilson Odobert moves his feet quickly to create space for a shot. He tries to curl it into the net but it takes a deflection and Jose Sa scrambles across to prevent a corner.

One thing that Newcastle have got that Everton haven't is that bit of class and composure up front, and Alexander Isak has delivered that for them again here.
He had so much to do there when he won the ball. He took the ball around a couple of defenders, who you could argue could have done better, and when he gets in the box you know he can't be touched.
When that is the case you always feel like he'll get a shot off and he did, passes the ball into the bottom corner.

One of the most bizarre predictions was Chris Sutton predicting Everton to win at Newcastle this evening and score TWO goals
Alan
I would take Isak at Chelsea in an absolute heartbeat.
Alex, London
Burnley 0-0 Wolves
A long ball is played forward by Burnley and it's an uncomfortable one to deal with.
Lyle Foster and Jacob Bruun Larsen are both chasing it down and Jose Sa has to come out of his box and awkwardly head it away.
Chris Wood (19 mins)
Now Nottingham Forest have their second!
It is a great strike by Chris Wood as he gets the ball some 20 yards out with his back to goal, turns and smashes home.
Nottingham Forest have been up for this from the outset and their reward is a two-goal lead.
Burnley 0-0 Wolves
Space opens up for Burnley just outside the Wolves box but with Jacob Bruun Larsen unmarked, it's played straight to Rayan Aït-Nouri.
Nottingham Forest 1-0 Fulham
Nottingham Forest have a golden chance to get a second goal and effectively put this game to bed as Morgan Gibbs-White picks out Callum Hudson-Odoi superbly, but Bernd Leno is off his line quickly to get in the way of Hudson-Odoi's shot.
West Ham v Tottenham (20:15 BST)
West Ham will still be smarting from the way they lost at Newcastle. Hammers boss David Moyes took Michail Antonio off when his team were cruising at 3-1 up with around 20 minutes to go and, without him, they could not get up the pitch.
Antonio gave them a great outlet, but Moyes will also be furious at the late goals his side conceded.
They will be looking to bounce back here, and they will be confident because they have already beaten Tottenham once this season.
The expansive way Spurs play suits West Ham because they will be able to hit them on the counter-attack. I think Antonio was taken off on Saturday to rest him for this game, and he will play another key role here.
There should be a few goals at the other end too, though. Tottenham are just relentless going forward and wear teams down. Even if they go behind, I still fancy them to win this one.
Prediction: 2-3

That's five home Premier League games in a row that Alexander Isak has scored in and he took it so well, cutting inside Jarrad Branthwaite and slotting past Jordan Pickford.
Isak becomes the first Newcastle player to score in five successive home Premier League matches since Yoan Gouffran between November to December in 2013.
Burnley 0-0 Wolves
Rayan Aït-Nouri sees a gap in the middle and weaves into it. He has support to his left but the cross sails comfortably into Arijanet Muric's arms.
Burnley go up the other end but Charlie Taylor can't keep the ball in play.
Alexander Isak (15 mins)
A beautiful goal by Alexander Isak!
Harvey Barnes plays a great ball over the top and Isak is away. It looks like the chance is gone as the defence gets back but he keeps cool to work some space and finish confidently.
Off we go in two other matches as Bournemouth host Crystal Palace, while Burnley take on Wolves.
Newcastle 0-0 Everton
Everton have settled well after a strong start by Newcastle. It is not panic stations for them yet but they won't be happy to hear of Nottingham Forest scoring. As things stand, Forest are within a point of the Toffees.
Burnley v Wolves (19:45 BST)

Surely it's not on, is it? Is the great escape on?
I had us dead and buried weeks ago. But look at the table now. After Nottingham Forest's points deduction, after the results this weekend went for us, after we battled so very hard for a point away at Chelsea- suddenly we are only four points away from safety. Despite Darren England doing his best to spoil it for us (I realise I can't get sent off and fined, but you can bet your life I have similar things to say to that man that Vincent Kompany did).
We entertain Wolves tonight under the famously tough Turf Moor lights and it is a game we can absolutely win. Luton face Arsenal, Forest have Fulham and Everton go to Newcastle. We could close that gap to just one point come 10pm.
I can't even begin to imagine what the last seven games look like if that happens.

About time DCL was dropped, he’s not a PL level striker. Nor is Beto for that matter, but he deserves a chance with Calvert Lewin firing blanks.
Chris
Both teams know Newcastle's defence are very weak so have to go for it if they have any sense. Has to be a goal-fest... right?

When Oliver Glasner came in at Palace his main job was to stabilise the team. He needed to get a feel for what was happening around the club, at the training ground, within the squad.
With time he is going to instill his attacking style, but first and foremost he needs to rewire the way they are playing before he can start to do anything significant in his way.
He has the right manner and approach and it is going to pay off at some point.
Callum Hudson-Odoi (9 mins)
Great finish!
Callum Hudson-Odoi is played in on the left and he charges into the box. He still has work to do as defenders get back but he cuts inside and drives a fine strike into the far corner.
A huge goal for Nottingham Forest's survival hopes. There is, of course, a long way to go tonight.
