    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Blackburn's fans are willing their side on. They are in great voice as Ryan Hedges is sent into space down the right.

Ipswich clear, but Rovers eventually earn another corner.

Can they make this one count?

  2. 'Disjointed Tractor Boys'published at 19:02 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

    Brenner Woolley
    BBC Radio Suffolk commentator

This is nice play from Blackburn. Ipswich look disjointed.

They cannot find composure or rhythm.

Kieran McKenna's side are hanging on, almost.

It looks a matter of time before Rovers equalise.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

And it is another change for Ipswich.

This time Leif Davis is replaced by Harry Clarke.

  4. Postpublished at 69 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Hard to believe Blackburn are the side near the bottom of the table fighting to stay away from the drop zone.

They have looked the more purposeful going forward in the second half.

    Still, it remains advantage Ipswich.

I'm not sitting comfortably watching this.

  6. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Blackburn have clocked up the corners in the second half, and they have managed to get an effort on target from their latest.

Scott Wharton met Harry Pickering's ball in, but his header lacked real power and Vaclav Hladky managed to collect it right on the goalline.

    Andy Bayes
    BBC Radio Lancashire commentator

In the space of a few minutes, three Brighton loan players have come onto the pitch.

Yasin Ayari and Andrew Moran for Blackburn and Jeremy Sarmiento for Ipswich.

Meanwhile, Blackburn are asking some questions of this Ipswich back line.

  8. Ipswich bring quality off their benchpublished at 18:57 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

    Kevin Gallacher
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio Lancashire

I think Ipswich are putting three fresh runners on up front.

There are still more than 20 minutes to go.

Blackburn will be hoping that they don't get up to speed quickly.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 64 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

A minute after those Blackburn switches, and Ipswich make a triple change.

Ali Al-Hamadi, Jeremy Sarmiento and Kayden Jackson replace Kieffer Moore, Nathan Broadhead and goalscorer Conor Chaplin.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:55 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

After a succession of corners, Blackburn make the first changes of the game.

Joe Rankin-Costello makes way for Yasin Ayari, while Ben Chrisene goes off for Andrew Moran.

  11. Finally, a Blackburn shot on targetpublished at 18:53 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

    Kevin Gallacher
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio Lancashire

The ball was initially with Callum Brittain.

I think, had it been a more attack-minded player, he would have controlled it better.

But then, a little lay back to Sammie Szmodics and you are thinking "here we go", but the goalkeeper got to it.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 60 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Vaclav Hladky gets his fingertips to a Sammie Szmodics shot, and he needed to!

It was a fierce attempt from the edge of the box, and Blackburn have a corner.

  13. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Blackburn get themselves into Ipswich's penalty area in numbers, when Sammie Szmodics dishes a pass out to Callum Brittain.

The attempted cross is a wasteful one, and is hit far too long.

Will Blackburn's Joe Rankin-Costello last the whole game?

I think Jake Garrett is the player to bring on.

Yasin Ayari came on and played well in that midfield against Middlesbrough.

But Garrett can put a tackle in. It is a fiesty midfield.

  15. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Ipswich goalscorer Conor Chaplin notches up another attempt.

But this one is a tame header that goes off target.

However, it was wonderfully worked move with Massimo Luongo doing well to volley a cross onto his head.

  16. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Ryan Hedges now has his arm up and shouts towards the referee after he is brought down by Ipswich's Massimo Luongo.

The home fans join in the complaints, but the challenge wasn't worth any more than a free-kick.

  17. 'Ipswich need to put game to bed'published at 18:46 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

    Alex Mathie
Former Ipswich Town striker on BBC Radio Suffolk

Ipswich don't want to give Blackburn something to hold onto.

They need to put this game to bed.

    It is pretty poor.

  18. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Ipswich striker Kieffer Moore backs into a defender in the middle of the park and goes down.

He earns a free-kick, but they take their time with it and work it backwards rather than lumping it forward.

The Tractor Boys are doing all they can to dictate the tempo of this game.

  19. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

Blackburn nearly (and I mean very nearly) carve out an opening.

Neat play at the top of the box, seeing a pass slipped through for Ryan Hedges. But the flag is up for offside.

  20. Questions over Pears' techniquepublished at 18:40 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Blackburn 0-1 Ipswich

    Kevin Gallacher
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio Lancashire

Blackburn goalkeeper Aynsley Pears gets his chest behind it, but where are his arms?

It is like he is playing without arms at the moment.

The ball hits his chest before he has actually got hold of it.
