What an Easter QPR have had.

The R's won 1-0 at Swansea to make it back-to-back wins and are now six points clear of danger.

Rock-bottom Rotherham kept their paper thin hopes of survival alive by beating Millwall for a first league win since Boxing Day and Birmingham beat Preston for a first win since February.

Plymouth lost 1-0 at home to Bristol City for a fifth straight home reverse and the pressure is building on boss Ian Foster...

The top six ends the day looking the same as it did at the start but that doesn't begin to tell you the story of a mad Easter Monday.

Ipswich led 1-0 then trailled 2-1 at home to fourth-plcaed Southampton before Jeremy Sarmiento popped up with a winner deep into stoppage time.

Leeds needed two late, late goals to overcome Hull City and Leicester came back from behind to beat sixth-placed Norwich in the day's early game and briefly go back to the top of the pile.

Fifth-placed West Brom drew and Coventry and Preston both lost by the odd goal.

Former Hull City player on BBC Radio Humberside

The second goal was a gut-punch. There's no real reason to go in for that challenge. After all the hard work, incidents in games change it.

Leeds are dangerous when they're chasing the game. For 70/80 minutes Hull City were the better team, but there's no better team in the league when it comes to chasing.

If we'd performed like that in the four draws we'd be in the top-five or six already. it's frustrating.

Mike - Plymouth: A few short weeks ago, Leicester were running away with automatic promotion, now they’re hanging on for dear life, with two very serious contenders

Alex from Cottingham: Leeds built up pressure during the last 20 causing a tired decision from Slater. Harsh on Hull, but fine margins settle games.

Anon: Love to see Ipswich get an automatic promotion. After all they didn't have the bonus of the parachute payments that the other teams had, who are in the race for promotion.

Keep your thoughts on the second tier promotion race and relegation battle coming to us. One normal day in the Championship is all I ask for. Will never happen.

These are the moments that get you promoted. Days like this, when you're under the pump and manage to get your noses infront. It's a massive win. Hull City have nearly done the job, give them credit, but they fell at the last hurdle.

When it really mattered the Leeds players turned up.

They made heavy work of it but Leeds are back up to second after another night of high drama at Elland Road!

Leeds led through Sam Byram's early goal and Fabio Carvalho levelled for the the Tigers before the break.

The home side were better after the break but it looked like they might be forced to settle for a point before Crysencio Summerville won and scored a late penalty.

Hull chucked the lot at trying to find an equaliser and, with keeper Ryan Allsop having gone up for a corner, Dan James added a third from miles out on the counter.

What a day in the Championship!

    Leeds 3-1 Hull City

What an unbelievable goal this is, what technique from Dan James. A brilliant shot, he's hit it a full 45 yards. I think the Kop End has sucked that in.

  10. goal

GOAL: Leeds 3-1 Hull Citypublished at 21:59 British Summer Time 1 April

    Dan James (90+7 mins)

    REMARKABLE!

The Hull City corner is too deep and Leeds head clear.

It's pumped back in, half cleared, shot blocked and then Leeds counter.

Georginio Rutter sends the ball to the halfway line and Dan James, scamperer in chief, sends a brilliant shot into the unguarded net from wide right from about 45 yards out.

    Brilliant from the Wales international.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 90+3 mins

    Leeds 2-1 Hull City

Hull City are throwing caution to the wind to try and get an equaliser now.

That said, they still don't actually have a striker on the pitch.

Leeds take off goalscoring duo Crysencio Summerville and Sam Byram for Jamie Shackleton and Jaidon Anthony for the final moments.

This will be rough justice on Hull City and it will stretch their winless run to six matches.

  15. 'I said Summerville was the key'published at 21:52 British Summer Time 1 April

    Leeds 2-1 Hull City

    Neil Redfearn
Former Leeds manager on BBC Radio Leeds

It's a definite penalty. Great play. Summerville has won the penalty and feels like he has the right to take it.

Shocking defending from Slater, he's just got to stand up.

There's pressure on the penalty but he sends the keeper the wrong way and slots it away nicely.

Good humility from Piroe who has been the normal penalty taker this season but who hasn't been in the team. Leeds have been the better side in the second half.

  16. goal

GOAL: Leeds 2-1 Hull Citypublished at 21:50 British Summer Time 1 April

    Crysencio Summerville (88 mins)

He won it and he scores it!

Crysencio Summerville stays ice cool to clip his penalty down the middle.

Not a great look prior as he basically ripped the ball out of Joel Piroe's hands to take it.

You've got to score after you do that and he has.

Leeds back up to second as it stands once again.

    Into the final five mins.

A draw isn't great for Leeds automatic promotion hopes and a point is very little use for Hull's fading play-off hopes.

Is there going to be a twist in this tale yet?

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 85 mins

    Leeds are on top now.

The last time they failed to win a home game in the league was 16 December when they drew 1-1 with Coventry.

The Whites want a penalty for a challenge on Dan James in the area but Alfie Jones makes a great tackle. Corner is the right call.
