Come on City & Arsenal! Those extra games could be all the help Liverpool need to win the Premier League.

Gut feeling that both English teams are going out tonight.

Now the Arsenal fans are having a go at making a noise. It's the chants from the away end you can hear at the moment.
Bayern v Arsenal (agg: 2-2, 20:00 BST)
Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel: "We need to give everything. We require passion and the same tactical discipline as in the first leg.
"We really want to win this match, and it is extremely important that every fan comes to support us and push us. We need that extra lift to be able to beat Arsenal.
"We have a small advantage if you look at our experience in this competition. But, to turn it into a decisive advantage, we need the top performance.
"We have an opportunity to do that to take the next big step in this wonderful competition. We are ready to put everything on the table."
Man City v Real Madrid (agg: 3-3, 20:00 BST)
The New York Times' Rory Smith tipped Rodri to win the Premier League player of the year award on BBC Radio 5 Live's Monday Night Club, saying the Spaniard is "the most important player in the team that will probably win the Premier League".
Chris Sutton says former City player Cole Palmer and last summer's target Declan Rice should also be considered for the award.
Man City v Real Madrid (agg: 3-3, 20:00 BST)
Real Madrid suffered one of their heaviest European defeats when they lost 4-0 to Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final second leg in 2023.
BBC World Service's John Bennett tells The Football News Show why that night remains a motivation for Carlo Ancelotti's side as they meet at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

Manchester City
Man City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to TNT Sports about Ederson and Kyle Walker's selection: "Well it's quality. So Ederson is an experienced keeper and Kyle has his pace with the threat of Vinicius.
"Kyle as captain is really important for us."
On needing a perfect performance: "In this competition against that team we know we have to our best performance or it will be more difficult."

This was Manchester City's starting line-up a couple of minutes ago, just doing their final sprints before heading to the dressing rooms.
Now, apart from half a dozen ground staff, the pitch is clear. The TV people are moving away and we are ready.
This should be good.

There’s an incredible atmosphere inside the Allianz Arena already. Supporters are waving their flags and chanting. It’s going to be difficult for Arsenal to quieten this crowd down.
Man City v Real Madrid (agg: 3-3, 20:00 BST)
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says it is too early for him to be talking about a second Treble in a row.
"I am not going to say 'don't feel this' to my players, but I have a different opinion," he said after Bernardo Silva had commented on the prospect.
"We are far away from those hypothetical dreams.
"When we are in the final of the FA Cup and two or three games [left] in the Premier League and in the final of the Champions League I will start to think about that.
"I started to think of the treble last season only when we beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final."

Theo Walcott
Former Arsenal forward on the Football Daily podcast
Arsenal have a job that is going to be really, really difficult.
No one expected Bayern to come to the Emirates and play that well but they are going to be missing a few players. I think Arsenal are going to struggle at certain points but it is how they come out of those situations for the best.
Like a lot of fans, it is going to be a tricky game for me to watch.

Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on the Football Daily podcast
The run Man City have been on is massive. Most players never go on a 20-something unbeaten run but these have done it again, and quietly.
There has been a lot of focus on Arsenal and Liverpool performing so well and it has gone under the radar. Now they arrive here, they will be excited about the challenges.
They will believe in themselves and if they can execute I understand why people believe they will win another Treble. I don't see it, but they will give everything to give themselves an opportunity to do it.
Man City v Real Madrid (agg: 3-3, 20:00 BST)
Carlo Ancelotti has lost all six away matches against Manchester City, by an aggregate score of 18-5 (two each for Chelsea, Everton and Real Madrid).

Jude Bellingham is making his 31st Champions League appearance. Only Cesc Fabregas (34), Roque Santa Cruz (32) and Iker Casillas (32) made more before turning 21.
Real Madrid's Bellingham, 20, has until the end of the season to add to that tally.
Man City v Real Madrid (agg: 3-3, 20:00 BST)
Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham says football's authorities "need to do more" to tackle racism but he "doubts it will happen".
Bellingham's Real team-mate Vinicius Jr broke down in tears last month when discussing the impact of racist abuse.
In March, Real filed a complaint with the Spanish legal authorities after alleged racist chanting by rival fans.
"It is disgusting. It shouldn't happen," Bellingham said. "The people in power need to do more.
"In the games where you go away in La Liga especially you get so used to it that I wasn't aware of the incident, which is a massive problem in itself.
"It is horrible way for a player to prepare for a game, knowing they are probably going to get racially abused."
Bayern v Arsenal (agg: 2-2, 20:00 BST)
Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is looking to reach the semi-finals with a third team, having previously done so with Paris St-Germain and Chelsea.
The only manager to do so with more than three sides is Jose Mourinho (Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid).

Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live
Man City will have a mentality behind closed doors that they want this double-treble and that nobody is going to stop them.
You look at the next five games in the Premier League and you would expect them to go on win those games.
They have a fully-fit squad and the majority of them did this last year. Pep will speak to them on a daily basis saying: 'we don't get beat and we are the best team in the world'.

Never understood not supporting the English or Scottish teams in Europe. I want City and Arsenal to win and for us to get another Champions League space. But, perhaps as a QPR fan I am not used to the emotional heights of it all!
