It didn't look like the cleanest of strikes, but somehow it crept into the far corner of the Forest goal.

Having Everton in the Premier League for another season would be hugely demoralising and discouraging to the world of football. I cannot think of any other side that is less inspiring, or an asset to the English top division as Everton. To see them go would not only be a blessing to all but also blessing in disguise to their own fans. Go down, rebuild, come back when you are ready.

Should Dominic Calvert-Lewin have done better there?

Dwight McNeil whips in a ball to the back post and Calvert-Lewin gets a head to it, but it's a comfortable catch for Matz Sels.

I thought Nuno was quite a canny appointment when he was announced. But I don't think he's got any more out of Forest than Cooper would have, and he's a far less likeable media presence. Seems to follow the Arteta method of taking absolutely no responsibility for anything.

He will be pleased Sean Dyche about the way Everton have started.

This first 15 minutes is the best I have seen them play.

They are playing through midfield with a high press and playing in the right areas.
