    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

An intricate corner from Arsenal, but it is not very effective.

Bukayo Saka goes short to Gabriel Jesus, who lays off to Declan Rice and he tries to thread a pass to Leandro Trossard.

    The shot is blocked, though.

No camera pan to Nicolas Jover...

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 52 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

That is Hwang's last involvement. The South Korean, who has been injured, is clearly not fit enough to last the full game and is replaced by Mario Lemina.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 51 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

Ouch! Hwang Hee-Chan slides in on Jakub Kiwior in a challenge which is deemed by ref Paul Tierney to be on the yellow side of dangerous.

  6. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard tries to inject some impetus into things.

He drives forward from midfield and pings a left-foot shot which cannons off Max Kilman.

Body on the line and all that.

Hmmm, looks like Gary O'Neil is preparing a change.

Seems a little strange so close after the restart.

Unless Mario Lemina is a little too warm and is just taking off a layer...

  8. 'The priority has to be three points'published at 48 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

    Jamie Redknapp
Former Tottenham midfielder on Sky Sports

In an ideal world, you want to get as many goals as you can, put as much pressure on as you can, but it is more important to get the three points. These are the details you have to get the advantage on.

  9. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

David Raya didn't get a touch for a little while in the first half, but he soon does in the second half.

The Arsenal keeper receives a backpass and, as Hwang Hee-Chan gamely chases him down, hoofs clear.

  10. Brave Ed Simpson gets deserved half-time ovationpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 20 April

Youngster Ed Simpson has just been given a fabulous reception by the Wolves supporters.

Simpson was diagnosed with brain tumour and after discovering it was the number one cancer killer for people under 40, decided to raise money by embarking on a '100 Strikes' challenge.

The youngster is taking 100 penalties to raise money from brain tumour research. His aim is to raise £100,000.

Tonight's was his 75th penalty - which he scored to huge acclaim.

Some things are more important than football.

No changes for either side, by the way.

Not that Gary O'Neil has a great deal of options.

Take two. Arsenal, who will go top with a win remember, get the ball rolling through Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal are the first to reappear after the breather, coming out a good half a minute before their hosts.

They use the waiting time to form a huddle and talk through what they need to do over the next 45 minutes.

    Simply: win.

  14. 'I don't expect Arsenal to concede'published at 20:33 British Summer Time 20 April

    HT: Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

    Theo Walcott
Former Arsenal and Southampton forward on Sky Sports

Arsenal don't really concede many goals when they play away from home and I don't expect them to concede today.

    HT: Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

Injury-hit Wolves have played pretty well and will have hope of mounting a fightback in the second half.

However, I'm going to dampen that enthusiasm by dropping this zinger of a stat...

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 40 Premier League matches when leading at half-time - winning 37 and drawing three.

That run dates back to New Year's Day 2022 against Manchester City, when they lost 2-1.

Sunday League, Theo? That'd be a worldie by Doncaster and District Sunday Alliance League standards.

You don't get many clearances going in off a team-mate's backside in the Premier League, to be fair.

Former Arsenal and Southampton forward on Sky Sports

It was a little bit Sunday League that goal. Defenders get away with everything these days, so I'm pleased to see him play on.

Leandro Trossard's strike is his ninth Premier League goal this season - his highest tally in a single season.

As that went in, it seemed Wolves were hoping for some kind of infringement to be spotted by VAR.

But there was clearly nothing that would cause John Brooks to step in from Stockley Park.

It was a scruffy goal but priceless for Arsenal and harsh on Wolves, who with so many men out, have been excellent.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 20 April

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

Not vintage from Mikel Arteta's men. But it is 1-0 to the Arsenal.

The Gunners, as it stands, are going top of the Premier League.
