  1. 'Arsenal needed that'published at 45+2 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

    Alan Smith
Former Arsenal forward on Sky Sports

A big slice of luck, just off balance on the stretch. It comes off the toe but boy, did Arsenal need that. Jesus held his ground well to keep the move going. Trossard is a fine finisher, but he gets a slice of luck there. It's a much, much different game now.

  2. Postpublished at 45+1 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

As you would expect, that's raised the volume from the away end.

Three minutes of stoppage time by the way.

  3. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal

Wolves are moaning at referee Paul Tierney.

They reckon Matt Doherty was impeded by Gabriel Jesus before the Arsenal striker laid it off to Trossard.

    Hardly anything in it.

  4. goal

GOAL - Wolves 0-1 Arsenalpublished at 44 mins

    Leandro Trossard

Breakthrough! Out of pretty much nowhere, Leandro Trossard puts Arsenal ahead.

The Belgium attacker swings a leg at the ball and it flies into the top corner.

Maybe a bit of fortune you need to win the Premier League...

  5. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Hugo Bueno has a bit of pace and tries to beat Ben White. He does exactly that.

But the cross deep to the far post is flicked clear by Jakub Kiwior and Arsenal have the platform to build another attack...

  6. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

The two sides have managed 10 shots between them, but other than Joao Gomes' shot - which was pushed onto the frame of the goal by David Raya - there really haven't been any proper chances.

  7. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Another brief break in play as Joao Gomes takes a whack.

Very bitty at the moment, but I suppose that suits Wolves more than it does Arsenal.

  8. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Leandro Trossard shanks a cross out from the left - which sums up the quality in the final third so far from Arsenal.

  9. No win situation for referee Paul Tierneypublished at 37 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

That was a no win situation for referee Paul Tierney.

Maximilian Kilman clearly caught Kai Havertz but the ball ran onto an Arsenal player in an attacking situation, so Tierney played the advantage.

Havertz was still down when Arsenal lost the ball and Wolves opted not to kick it out, which is their right so because it wasn't a head injury, or something obviously serious, Tierney couldn't stop the game until Declan Rice stepped in with a foul.

Rice then yelled his frustration at Tierney, who had shown him a yellow card.

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Oh! What's William Saliba up to?!

A really sloppy pass out to Hugo Bueno puts Arsenal under serious pressure.

But the Spaniard wastefully skews his shot wide.

    No Bueno.

  11. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

A break in play as Kai Havertz gets some treatment, looks to be a knock on the ankle.

Mikel Arteta uses the opportunity to get his players into a huddle and give an impromptu team-talk.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 34 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Declan Rice's is latest to go into Paul Tierney's notebook.

  13. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

    Now it's Arsenal's chance to make a set-piece count.

After Bukayo Saka is hauled over, Martin Odegaard stands over the ball. The Arsenal skipper stops as he is about to deliver.

Take two... hits a Wolves defender.

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal have been the better team but Wolves have just come the closest to scoring.

Clearly, Mikel Arteta's men need to be patient and they have a lot of time left.

But they can't afford to let the game drift.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 29 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal manage to deal with the Wolves set-piece... but they are almost punished moments later when they don't fully clear.

Joao Gomes picks the pocket of Jakub Kiwior, runs into the area and blasts a shot towards the near post.

David Raya pushes the ball onto the post and one of his defenders hacks it clear.

    Big let off for Arsenal!

  16. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Ironic cheers from the home fans as Leandro Trossard is booked for hauling down Hwang on the right.

Chance for Wolves to sling it into the mixer...

  17. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Bukayo Saka gets in behind the Wolves for the first time tonight, but his cross towards Leandro Trossard is booted clear by a Wolves defender.

Not really caught fire yet, this one.

Arteta shouldn’t have changed the team. For a while it was working well with Jorginho in midfield and Havertz up top. Then he changed it so Havertz went in to midfield with Jesus (who’s unreliable for fitness and finishing) up top.

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Quickly, Arsenal resume their control of the ball and sweep forward down the right.

The ball is cutback to Martin Odegaard, but he is crowded out by Wolves defender and can't get the ball out of his feet to shoot.

  20. Rice need to score morepublished at 24 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

I am a big fan of Declan Rice.

He is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and will be one of England's key men at Euro 2024.

I do think he could score more often though.

He has managed six for Arsenal since joining from West Ham in the summer, his latest against Brentford at the beginning of last month.

He is capable of improving on those figures and judging by his reaction when he flashed a low shot wide, Rice thinks he could have done better with that.
