It's been a quietish start to his full Wolves debut for Tawanda Chirewa.

He's working hard without the ball, but had little opportunity to impress with it.

    Until now.

A curling effort from the 20-year-old home midfielder is watched wide by David Raya.

Come on You Wolves! 136 years after founding the league, it would be great to beat the Johnny-come-lately Gooners.

Wolves have had 53% possession, apparently. It doesn't feel like they have had that much. But they've only spent 13% of the game in the Arsenal third.

Joao Gomes is a heck of a player, isn't he? Wolves won't want to be losing him.

The Brazil midfielder twists and turns into space near the centre circle as he tries to keep the ball ticking over for the hosts.

Wolves being made to work very hard here.

Remember that shot by Declan Rice a few minutes ago? Well, this is almost a carbon copy.

    Same distance, same angle.

This time the Gunners midfielder gets more pace on his shot, but now Jose Sa is content to watch it roll wide of his right-hand post.

With Wolves committing a few more forward, there is a bit of space for Arsenal to break through Declan Rice...

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Wolves find a route into the Arsenal box and the volume is instantly dialled up inside Molineux.

Matt Doherty breaks on the right, slipping the ball towards Hwang Hee-Chan.

The concrete wall that is the Arsenal defence stops his progress.

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil is quite animated in his technical area, telling his players where the spaces are that need filling.

In contrast, Mikel Arteta is quite calm.

He applauded one Arsenal foray forward but otherwise is largely standing there watching proceedings with his arms folded.

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Another shot for Arsenal - this one is definitely off target.

Martin Odegaard - the master of first-time efforts - drags this one well wide. A rarity indeed.

Was that a shot on target? Think so.

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice sidefoots an effort from the edge of the area which might be sneaking past the outside of the post.

Jose Sa takes no chances, getting down quickly to gather.

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Wolves continue to knock the ball neatly and patiently - until Jakub Kiwior decides he's had enough of that.

The Arsenal left-back steps up the flank and picks the pocket on Hwang Hee-Chan, but he can't find Gabriel Jesus with a low cross. Wolves clear.

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Wolves are finally finding their rhythm and keeping hold of the ball.

Tommy Doyle, on loan from Manchester City and hoping to do his parent club a turn, is seeing plenty of the ball in midfield as he looks to find an opening.

We all know how important Bukayo Saka is to Arsenal. And he's been in particularly fine form on the road.

Saka has been involved in eight goals in his last seven Premier League away games, scoring seven and assisting one.

His 13 away goal involvements overall this term - eight goals, five assists - is the most by an Arsenal player in a single Premier League campaign since Alexis Sanchez’s 20 in 2016-17.

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal keeper David Raya had a couple of touches earlier. That's been it, though, and Arsenal are back on the attack.

Leandro Trossard dinks a cross from the left and Bukayo Saka sticks his noggin on it.

But the header is loopy and doesn't stretch Jose Sa.

At least you don't have to mess about with the tube, Wolves fans.

Think of the positives about not going to Wembley.

My club haven't been there for the best part of 20 years so I have to.

There is a decent amount of noise in here tonight.

You would expect the visiting contingent to be singing but the Wolves fans are up for it too, telling Arsenal they are going to win nothing this season, albeit in not quite such a polite way.

I suspect quite a few of their fans will feel they should be in the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend.

After all, Wolves were leading Coventry in stoppage time here in their sixth round clash but somehow Mark Robins' men produced a superb finale.

Hwang goes down clutching his face after that tussle with Gabriel.

An anguished expression turns to shock when he realises he's not got the free-kick.

    Wolves 0-0 Arsenal

Not sure Wolves have been out of their half of the pitch yet.

Patient passing at the back between Jose Sa and his defenders almost get them there.

But Gabriel is fouled by Hwang Hee-Chan in a robust meeting between the pair and Wolves hopes of breaking out are ended.

Another early effort for the visitors. This time it is not troubling Jose Sa.

The Wolves keeper watches Gabriel Jesus drag his ambitious shot from about 25 yards well wide of the left-hand post.

Any 72-hour hangover for Arsenal? Not on the evidence so far.

Arsenal looking sharp mentally and physically in a decent start.
