Paul: Haaland one chance = one goal. Wood has had 2/3 good chances and wasted them all. That's why one is elite and one is a striker in a relegation threatened team. That second City goal wasn’t even a surprise as Forest missed that many chances it was inevitable.

    Nottingham Forest 0-2 Man City

It's going to be like this for the last three weeks of the season, isn't it?

Arsenal win swiftly followed by a Manchester City win.

While the Gunners host Bournemouth at 12:30 BST next Saturday, City host Wolves on the same day at 17:30.

Forest have been close on a number of occasions, but they do not have the quality to take the chances that the top teams do.

    Nottingham Forest 0-2 Man City

You get the feeling Forest are done after that Erling Haaland goal.

They have given this a good go but they are being made to pay for those missed chances.

They're going to stay 17th and in trouble as it stands.

  11. City's big players deliver the big momentspublished at 18:07 British Summer Time 28 April

De Bruyne to Haaland. It has not been classic Manchester City but they have the players to delver the big moments when they need them.

They have done what Forest could not, take their chances, and having lived dangerously at the City Ground are on course to close the gap to Arsenal at the top.

It looks like it will be another three points but that doesn't tell the full story and Forest have let the defending champions off the hook.

Why don't we just change his name to "Kevin Assist De Bruyne".

    Fame

A brilliant composed finish from Haaland in a game which we've had our backs to the wall. 21 in the league alone. Not bad for a tap in merchant.

Erling Haaland has only been back from injury for a few minutes and he has already moved clear of Cole Palmer at the top of the Premier League scoring charts.

That was No 21 for the season.

Typical Haaland, he takes it ever so well. He doesn't blast it, he had composure - which Forest have not had.

He makes it look so easy, that was a great finish.

    Guess who's back?

Erling Haaland is a joy to watch when he finishes like that.

A lovely goal after ANOTHER assist by Kevin de Bruyne.

It's a long way back for Forest now.

They were patient and had 15 to 20 passes. Forest let them have it for too long, you can't allow City to have too much rhythm.

As a ‘neutral’ I would love to see Nottingham Forest win. That would really heat up title race!

With the greatest respect to Forest, Man City are very poor today, considering the talent in the pitch. Passes going astray and little coherence.

Nottingham Forest are very much in this but will they find an equaliser?
