Nuno's arms were in the outstretched in exasperation after Chris Wood's latest miss just after the break.

Forest have come out firing and but for some poor finishing would be level. They cannot blame anyone but themselves for that.

It is not vintage City, they have ridden their luck, and Forest have been the aggressors since the re-start but the champions can turn it on at any moment and, with Erling Haaland now on, they have a new threat.

  4. Postpublished at 17:55 British Summer Time 28 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-1 Man City

Now a chance for City but Julian Alvarez cannot get it on target before Forest come again. It's that sort of game. End to end. Forest are far from done.

  5. 'Alvarez not the threat Haaland is'published at 17:53 British Summer Time 28 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-1 Man City

Sho: Forest should be at least level if not winning this game. By far the better team all game.

  9. Postpublished at 17:48 British Summer Time 28 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-1 Man City

This is a cracking watch. Forest are giving this absolutely everything but now Pep Guardiola has told Erling Haaland to start warming up.

Not a bad substitute to bring on when your team is winning.

Jeers as Jack Grealish goes to ground after Willy Boly appears to win the ball.

The home fans are not happy Simon Hooper stopped play for that.

Forest are getting into great positions, they have a lot of pace. I can't believe they are in a relegation fight.

  12. Postpublished at 17:44 British Summer Time 28 April

Manchester City are doing what they do best - keeping the ball. They're taking the sting out of Forest's early second half surge.

Chris Wood is so poor in front of goal. If I was a Forest fan he'd have me pulling my hair out. Of course, me being an Arsenal fan has nothing to do with my frustration... nothing at all.

And yet another MASSIVE chance for Forest.

Great play and vision by Anthony Elanga to find Chris Wood who is a few yards out but he again fails to finish.

    City are riding their luck.
