Meanwhile, Maldonado is storming but he has a damaged right rear wing endplate - doesn't seem to be holding him up much, currently P7.
David Coulthard

"This is a positive showing from Maldonado and he really needs a strong weekend."
The Lotus driver is running in seventh place, ahead of team-mate Romain Grosjean.
Pastor Maldonado, winner of the Spanish GP in 2012, is going for it. He is up to seventh now having picked off Max Verstappen and now he has Felipe Massa in his sights.
Up front, everything is pretty peachy for Nico Rosberg, who leads by more than six seconds. Comfortable, and a contrast to Lewis Hamilton's fortunes, who is informed over team radio that he is "switching to plan B."

"We're getting towards three-stop territory now. If you are doing a three-stop, you need to stop around lap 10 or 11. It is theoretically quicker."
Rian Hoskins: Rosberg couldn't have had a better start but while Hamilton has work to do, he relishes the challenge of fighting his way through.
Justin Gray: C'mon Vettel we want an exciting season and you're the only one that can make that happen.
Di B: Think a bit of Hammertime might have to come now rather than later!
Replays show too much wheelspin from Lewis Hamilton hampered his start and he is struggling to close in on Sebastian Vettel. "It is impossible to get close," he reports over team radio. He is a second behind with the Ferrari with six laps gone.
Meanwhile, Romain Grosjean has to give up his position to Daniel Ricciardo and the Lotus is down to 11th.
Carlos Sainz is mixing it with some of the big guns after qualifying fifth and he is swiftly under attack. Not long after Kimi Raikkonen passes him, Felipe Massa also sweeps past with ease just before Turn One and the Spaniard is down to eighth.
Ben Edwards
BBC F1 commentator
"Hamilton not getting away as well as he planned. He's in third position and Rosberg is beginning to open up a gap on the Ferrari of Vettel."
No real drama in the first lap as everyone manages to keep out of each other's way. Nico Rosberg leads Sebastian Vettel by one second, with Lewis Hamilton two seconds behind.
Kimi Raikkonen, who started from seventh, makes the biggest gain climbing up to fifth. Good start from the Finn after a pretty torrid weekend so far.

The lowest winning #F1 Spanish grid slot of the past 10 years was P5 (ALO,13) - currently occupied by another Spaniard… Sainz!
The lights go out and the 2015 Spanish Grand Prix is under way!
It is a long run down to the first corner, 730m to be exact, and Nico Rosberg is away perfectly, holding on to the lead as Lewis Hamilton drops down to third, behind Sebastian Vettel.
The formation lap is under way, with all of the grid heading out on the medium rubber.
McLaren: Tyre blankets disconnected, cables out of the way & the crew prepare to unwrap the tyres
Brett Heasman: Hamilton-Rosberg collision, Vettel victory with Bottas & Verstappen on podium.
Jeremiah Kariuki: Given the challenges of overtakes in the circuit, many drivers may opt to try and move up positions at the start. Recipe for safety car!
Phil Slocombe: Lewis to make another electric start and take Nico before the first corner. Another win with Nico or Seb second, Kimi 3rd.
"A three-stop strategy is theoretically slightly quicker for the 66-lap race, but doesn't justify the traffic risks involved. Consequently, a two-stopper is actually more likely: especially for the cars at the front of the grid.
"The best strategy would be start on medium, medium again on lap 23, hard on lap 50. The theoretically fastest three-stopper is to start on the medium, switch to medium again on laps 17 and 35, before a final stint on the hard from lap 55."
The anthems have been completed. All that remains is for the grid to clear, the drivers to get into the cars and then it is lights out!
How will the drivers' standings look in a couple of hours?
McLaren on Twitter:, external It's hotting up on the grid. That updated lick of paint is looking mega in the sunshine.
