And here he is...
Nico Rosberg's work is done for the day so he is chatting to the media. Lewis Hamilton is stepping into the Mercedes in about 10 minutes time.
What chance he will want to beat Rosberg's time of 1:23.022 and 82 lap total?
Perfect post-F1 careers
F1 journalist Dan Knutson in Barcelona: "Esteban Gutierrez spoke with the media during the lunch break. He says that the Haas team should not get carried away by the positive comments being made by people outside the team.
"'It is always good news when you have surprising comments around,' he said. 'The most important thing is for us to be focused on our work at the moment. We need to keep our feet on the ground. We need to keep this approach because we are a new team, and we need to be aware of how we want to develop and to integrate ourselves. It is a process, but so far the rate of improvement has been very good.'"
BBC Radio 5 Live
BBC Radio 5 live's Jennie Gow has got to the circuit with a hitch and is all set to report on goings on during testing.
Jennie will also present a show previewing the new season this Thursday at 21:00 GMT.
Speaking of McLaren and Fernando Alonso, the Spaniard has been telling Spanish radio that he still believes he can win a third World Championship, despite the struggles faced by his team.
Alonso won his second title in 2006 with Renault and has come close three times since - in 2007 with McLaren and 2010 and 2012 with Ferrari.
Asked if he thought he could be champion again, he said: "Yes, I think so. I compete to win. If there was no chance, I wouldn't do it."

Well I guess needs must when the hot food section of the lunchtime buffet is going cold!
F1 journalist Dan Knutson in Barcelona: "The flat bed truck showed up to pick up Alonso’s McLaren, but that takes time, so the McLaren mechanics just jacked the car up, slid in trolleys, and “ran” the car back to the pits."

That ends the morning session, so while Fernando Alonso's McLaren is recovered I'll provide a run down of the latest times and number of laps completed.
Red flag right on the stroke of lunchtime. Everyone pits except for the McLaren. Fernando Alonso has stopped at the pit exit.
Uh oh...
There will be a well-earned lunch break at Manor. They've fixed the problem that has had Rio Haryanto in the garage for most of the morning and sent him on his way to sneak a quick lap or two in.

Fernando Alonso is on the move.
The Spaniard is up to third after clocking 1:25.252 on the soft tyre. It is 2.23s off Nico Rosberg's pace, but it is McLaren's best time of testing so far.
A nice little pick me up before lunch.
Careers for drivers after F1
Fifteen minutes until lunch and it looks like a fair few of the drivers have opted for an early cut. Just Kevin Magnussen, Valtteri Bottas and Nico Hulkenberg out there at the moment.
