    What happened to Hamilton in qualifying? Fastest in all three practice sessions, he went straight on twice before smashing up his car.

    For the actual accident, he clipped the wall at the right-hander at Turn 11 and then went straight across to the opposite side of the track.

    Hamilton was just over a second slower than Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg in Q2, but still half a second up on third-placed Sergio Perez.

    Joining them in the top-10 shootout are Ricciardo who was fourth, Verstappen fifth, Vettel sixth, Bottas seventh, Raikkonen eighth, Kvyat ninth and Massa 10th.
