Right, that's a wrap. Qualifying is in the can.

We'll be rolling once again tomorrow at 11:30 BST, with lights out on the race at 13:00 BST.

Hopefully, we'll see drama that even Star wars director George Lucas (pictured) could not dream up for the silver screen.

Until then everyone, remember - I AM YOUR FATHER.

    (I'm not really).

Plenty of plaudits to be handed out today.

    Pascal Wehrlein for that P12.

Nico Hulkenberg for getting a place at the front of the grid.

Jenson Button for taking third on the grid.

But, let's hear it for the Mercedes garage, who used a lot of man power, a bit of knowhow, a splash of faith and I suspect a whole load of this stuff, to get Nico Rosberg on to the track.

Mercedes head honcho Toto Wolff on Sky Sports: "The job the guys have done on Rosberg's car in the garage is awesome. Three minutes before qualifying the car was in pieces, three mins into qualifying the car was being put together.

"Finishing P1 and P2 is good but we go backwards with Nico unfortunately."

Fernando Alonso, after finishing in P14: "It's frustrating. We are already not too quick. We are not in a very good position, and if on top of that we make those primary school mistakes, it's frustrating."

McLaren put the wrong tyres on the Spaniard's car... it could happen to anyone.

Andrew Priestley: A fantastic qualifying performance from Jenson Button to secure 5th place on the grid, & it's about to get even better! 3rd at worst!

Matt Knight: JB! Finally gets what he deserves! 3rd place or a front row start!

Robin Best: Well done Jenson Button 3rd at least, wouldn't it be fantastic if you got bumped to 2nd and have you and Lewis Hamilton at the front.

Force India's sporting director Andy Stevenson speaks to Sky Sports about Nico Hulkenberg's investigation: "When we saw Carlos's engine fail we were on the radio straight away. We can see him lift off (the power) in the telemetry and hopefully the stewards will accept that."

Hulkenberg is under investigation for going too quickly through a yellow flag.

Nico Hulkenberg: "I was feeling really good in the car, I was expecting a little bit better than third to be honest.

"But I wasn’t disappointed, the car performed well, and we’ve got a very strong starting position tomorrow."

A reminder that Nico Hulkenberg, who finished in P3 and is currently second on the grid with Rosberg's penalty, is under investigation.

The Force India driver is being looked at for going too fast through a yellow flag in Q1 - so there is the possibility of a punishment.

Word is that his team are confident they have the evidence to show he eased his speed and he'll be OK.

More from Lewis Hamilton: "For me those yellow kerbs are quite dangerous, we’ve seen a couple of incidents already, I don’t know how many more it’s going to take before someone ends up in the wall and hurt.

"The idea is good because they don’t want us running wide, but perhaps another solution is needed."

Pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton: "A really fun session.

"It’s incredible how fast it dries up here, it’s like driving through fog.

"It was very, very slippery, but it was drying up corner by corner. At the end it was just about getting that last lap. I’m very happy."

Nico Rosberg after finishing in P2, but knowing he will start seventh on the grid: "A really unbelievable job by my team, even Lewis's mechanics came to my car. It was really tight and awesome.

"It was a very exciting qualifying. It was unbelievable how quickly it dried. Lewis did a good job there in the end. second not first but it's OK. The five places will be very costly but I'll make the best of it anyways."

But of course, few of those placings are where they will start on the grid.

Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg have five-place penalties. And Nico Hulkenberg is under investigation.

So, Jenson Button will be at least third on the grid - maybe higher if Hulkenberg gets a grid punishment.
