Sergio Perez has to head to the garage, with what looks like a suspension problem. It's becoming a theme of this circuit. He's in P6 with eight minutes remaining.

Jenson Button is the first McLaren with a time in Q1. He's up in P5.

And here comes Nico Rosberg. Plenty of high fives in the Mercedes garage as they get their man on track in good time.

You have to take every chance when you can because there’s always going to be stumbles along the way.

But it’s a little bit early to say it’s all about Rosberg and Hamilton!

It’s certainly a circuit that is point and squirt. If you’ve got a slippery car, you’ve got an opportunity.

Lewis Hamilton emerges. But there are no wheels on Nico Rosberg's Mercedes' as I type. I doubt he'll be driving until they put those on - although I'm not an expert.

Well. It's less Go! Go! Go! and more No! No! No!

There's not exactly a traffic jam to get out of the garages.

    But qualifying is under way.

A bit of reassurance for Nico Rosberg fans.

He has won both of the races at the Red Bull Ring, despite failing to start in pole on either occasion.

He was second on the grid last year and third the year before.
