    Hold your horses.

A bit more info before we go.

Mercedes have tweeted some interesting news.

Firstly, Nico Rosberg will take a five-place grid penalty for a gear-box change.

Secondly, they've said his left-rear wishbone failed after "an unusually high load at full throttle".

Can Hamilton go full throttle, or even go out at all, in qualifying with that looming?

This could be a very interesting qualifying session (taps his fingers on the desk expectantly).

Will Nico Rosberg's car be fixed in time?

Does Lewis Hamilton have to worry about the blistering he saw on his tyres in FP3?

Have Ferrari found the right cocktail of elements to mount a challenge?

We'll be back at 12:30 BST for build up to qualifying at 13:00 BST.

If you miss it, you only have yourself to blame.

That scary moment puts him in the very unfamiliar position of dead last in that session.

Mercedes executive director Paddy Lowe on Sky Sports: "We need to understand the problem with Nico's car, but it looks like there was a suspension failure on the kerb, We need to make sure we're covered for the race."

For me it's not about how quick Mercedes are on the track, it's how quick they can rebuild Rosberg's car. With that damage, he could miss qualifying.

There are black screens up around Nico Rosberg's car - parts of the body work are in front of me and they look OK. They're going to have a lot of work to do if Nico Rosberg is going to get out there and put in a good lap in qualifying.

This put paid to Bottas's practice session - those tyres did not like going dancing across the track.

Valtteri Bottas loses it in the final turn and goes waltzing across the bright red run-off.

There's a brief yellow flag - but he's back on his way.

As it stands, Mercedes are unsure what the issue was, but they've only just got the car back into the garage.

Look at that rear left wheel - it shouldn't bend that way.

Lewis Hamilton is on used ultra soft tyres. but has clocked a time good enough for P4.

If Mercedes had any concerns about Hamilton's suspension following Rosberg's incident, they are confident everything is OK, as the wold champion is on his way out.

Rosberg's Mercedes arrives back in the pits and a load of blokes in silver overalls swiftly cover it in a sheet, as if the government have found a UFO they want to keep secret.
