Benedict Salido: Max not giving back the position shows how spoilt he is,thinks he can get away w/ anything. Total disrepect to the rules and drivers.

Martin Jarvis: Is vettel losing his credibility? expressed his views on max moving under breaking. When hes is challenged does same under breaking

Bibz: Remember, Ricciardo let Max through so I reckon Max would have given that place back. So final results would have stood either way

That Vettel-Ricciardo move is going to be an interesting one. Vettel moved under braking but a squeeze rather than a sharp Verstappen jink.

Chequered Flag: The stewards and Charlie have a lot to answer after this #MexicoGP, external. Clarity and consistency, not size!

Sean Monk: A failure of the FIA and Charlie whiting, both max and Lewis incidences are clearly identical; clear law of consistency

RndmTnger: Vettel doesn't deserve P3, poor sportsmanship calling him every name under the sun

  6. 'Vettel doesn't deserve to be up there'published at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

Daniel Ricciardo is not happy at all as he speaks to Sky Sports. He and Vettel collided as Ricciardo attempted to move down the inside of the Ferrari late in the race.

"He [Vettel] is smiling now. He doesn't deserve to be up there," says Ricciardo. "I thought I had every right to be there but he kept closing the door under braking. I was frustrated with that.

"I also didn't understand the start, how you can be leading the race, defend, go off the track and not get a penalty? What was different with Max Verstappen's move and Lewis'? It was a mistake and you have to pay the price. I am just frustrated with how it all panned out to be honest."

  8. 'You can understand why I was annoyed'published at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

Sebastian Vettel, who finished third after Max Verstappen's penalty: "I was using a lot of sign language. You have to understand the adrenaline.

"Then obviously he left the track and didn't move and so you can understand why I was annoyed. I was really disappointed when I crossed the line, but then I was told to come up here."

  9. 'A good day'published at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

Nico Rosberg, who finished second: "It has been a good day. I haven't been too fast this weekend so I have to accept second place. I got shunted at the start and had a battle with Max Verstappen late on, so it was OK to be second."

  10. 'The team did a great job'published at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

Lewis Hamilton after finishing first: "It was amazing because of all these people "viva Mexico!" this is honestly the best crowd we get anywhere. In our home country it is always great, but these guys have such a great passion.

"I love it here. I have had tacos every night.

"Nico is doing a great job. I'm really grateful the team did a great job."

Wendy: Watching GP. Don't blame Vettel for being angry. Very unprofessional of Verstappen

Jonathan Miller: Has Vettel just bullied himself a podium? Followed by a huge fine for bringing the sport into disrepute

Steve Beare: Not poor form from Seb to vent his anger over the radio, just proves he isn't a corporate yes man like most!

That moves Hamilton level with Alain Prost on career wins. Only Michael Schumacher is ahead of him.

Max Verstappen has come under a lot of criticism for his defensive form and finally has got a penalty. I can't help but feel it is prior form that has got Verstappen that penalty.
