Fernando Alonso is back on the radio to provide some constructive feedback.

"Embarrassing power from this mode," he says.

Perez, Raikkonen and Ocon battle for positionImage source, Rex Features

Esteban Ocon responds to Lewis Hamilton's stop by pitting from second. Super-softs also go on the Force India and he returns to the circuit in sixth, behind Kimi Raikkonen.

  4. Postpublished at Lap 34/70

And now Lewis Hamilton pits from the lead. He takes on super-softs - not softs as we heard suggested over the radio earlier - and is back out in front.

Everything has worked absolutely perfectly for Lewis Hamilton so far. He has a 23-24 second advantage over second place.

  6. Postpublished at Lap 33/70

Lewis Hamilton is coasting away at the front. He has a 23 second lead over Esteban Ocon, plenty of breathing space for when he eventually pits.

Daniil Kvyat and Kevin MagnussenImage source, Rex Features

He might just get away with it, but in my book, that move from Magnussen will be looked at but Kyvatt got the job done.

  8. Postpublished at Lap 32/70

Good spot by Amit, with Kimi Raikkonen have dropped two placea and Sebastian Vettel five.

Daniil Kvyat is all over the back of Kevin Magnussen's Haas. K-Mag defends, pretty aggressively, but Kvyat eventually squeezes past at Turn 1. Kvyat's back into the top 10.

Amit Mandalia: both Ferrari’s are the only drivers who have lost positions in this race

  10. Postpublished at Lap 31/70

Sebastian Vettel is seventh now with Kimi Raikkonen just ahead of him. Will the Finn let him pass, I wonder?

Fernando Alonso can do nothing but watch as Sebastian Vettel breezes past the Spaniard on the straight. Too easy. McLaren might think about pitting Alonso soon. He hasn't stopped yet.

  12. Team radiopublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

That same McLaren engineer who is probably crying into his notes right now: "We are looking at plan A +5"

Alonso: "YOU ARE NOT GIVING ME USEFUL INFORMATION! I don't think the supersoft is a good tyre - Raikkonen is not pulling away as much"

  13. Postpublished at Lap 29/70

It's fascinating to listen to Fernando Alonso's radio. Sometime's it is hard to tell who is the race engineer and who is the driver as Alonso questions a bit of feedback he is given...

It's amazing how chilled Hamilton's team are when they are in control...

"How about the soft tyres Lewis? Would you like some garlic bread with that?!"

  18. Postpublished at Lap 25/70

Something you don't write very often - Force India are second. Esteban Ocon is 23 seconds behind leader Lewis Hamilton.

  19. Team radiopublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

Cool as you like, Hamilton's team radio: "OK Lewis, we are thinking soft tyres next pit?"

    Valtteri BottasImage source, Rex Features

Valtteri Bottas pits from second. He moves onto softs and is back out in third.

Will Mercedes bring Lewis Hamilton in soon? He's just stuck in a new fastest lap, so he's doing fine on those ultra-softs at the moment.
