Max Verstappen has pulled over to the side of the track and stopped. Race over!
It has very much been Lewis Hamilton's day so far. He's tootling along quite contently out in front three seconds ahead of Max Verstappen.
However, he will never truly feel comfortably with the young Dutchman behind him and feeling racey.

The driving standards of some of these drivers on the opening lap is very questionable...
"I think I've lost some piece of the front wing again," says Sebastian Vettel.
When it's not your day, it's not your day.
Sebastian Vettel will not be including Max Verstappen in his round in the post-race drinks later.
Replays show it was the left rear of the Red Bull that clattered into Vettel's front wing at the start, loosening it before part of it fell away later in the race.

If Vettel wants to baby those new tyres, then he MAY be able to make it to the end of the race but if not, he has essentially ruled himself out of contention.
Meanwhile, Fernando Alonso is currently 10th, Stoffel Vandoorne 11th.
Both cars to finish in the points...?
"There is debris on turns seven and eight" says Hamilton's race engineer...
Sebastian Vettel pits, has a new front wring put in place and is back out in 18th place, 30 seconds behind Lewis Hamilton.
Work. To. Do.
Sebastian Vettel has a broken front wing. He's going to have to pit.
There'll be plenty of headshaking going on in the Ferrari garage. Can they recover from this?

Whatever Kimi Kaikkonen did, he got a massive slap out onto the grass there!
Kimi Raikkonen is the meat in a Force India sandwich and he ain't happy about that. He is sixth and tries to muscle his way past Sergio Perez but ends up smooching the wall, kicking up a load of dirt and dust as he does so.
Ferrari having a shocker so far.
Max Verstappen is straight on the attack! He attempts a move on the outside of Lewis Hamilton but the Briton shuts the door. Holds the lead for now.
The safety car is coming in this lap.
Let's go racing.
Fernando Alonso: "What is going on?! That was a crazy start. They all need to calm down".
Right, let's catch up with the order after that chaotic start.
Somehow, Sebastian Vettel has dropped right down to fourth. Terrible start.
1) Hamilton 2) Verstappen 3) Bottas 4) Vettel 5) Ricciardo 6) Raikkonen 7) Perez 8) Ocon 9) Hulkenberg 10) Kvyat
Felipe Massa: "Unbelievable. Someone just shoved me from behind."

That all happened so quickly!
I just saw a cloud of dust - both Carlos Sainz and Felipe Massa are both out literally within 200 metres of the start line.
That was huge impact but fortunately the crash structures have done their job and allowed Carlos Sainz to walk away un-hurt.
Looking at replays it looks like Carlos Sainz got tagged by a Haas and he pinballed into Felipe Massa's Williams, sending them both spinning off the track.
Safety car is out.
