Jack Naven: For about 3 and a bit years Massa was right up there with the best. Could beat absolutely anyone on his day. Sadly though he spent many many more years not performing as we know he could do.

Weather update from FIA: Forecast has changed for Saturday. Chances of rain significantly less than expected, 30% chance of light scattered rain.
Daniel Ricciardo improves, but only up to fifth with 1:10.244, almost a second down on Sebastian Vettel.
Max Verstappen then spins after hitting a wet kerb. He shakes his head in frustration. Not been a good session for Red Bull so far.
Three minutes to go.

We need to see a big jump from Red Bull because they are more than a second off at the moment. You have to assume they have been doing a lot of race prep so far.
Go on, Fernando!
1) Bottas 1:09.281
2) Hamilton +0.003
3) Raikkonen +0.056
4) Vettel +0.058
5) Alonso +1.007
Even quicker from Valtteri Bottas, who lowers the benchmark with 1:09.281 before a 1:09.284 lifts Lewis Hamilton back into second.
A Mercedes one-two at the top of the timesheet but just half a tenth of a second separating the top four. Ferrari much closer today.
Lewis Hamilton does a 1:09.353 to go second quickest before Kimi Raikkonen improves with 1:09.326 to go back on top of an ever-changing timesheet.
Kimi Raikkonen reclaims top spot with a 1:09.399 but Sebastian Vettel then edges ahead him by just six hundreths of a second.
Lewis Hamilton is on a personal best, but is not looking quicker than the Ferraris...
Valtteri Bottas is up into first place with his first lap on the supersofts - a 1:09.569.
Max Verstappen does a 1:10.495 to go sixth quickest with Daniel Ricciardo P7 after a 1:10.606.
Meanwhile, Mercedes are onto the supersofts for the first time in the session. Expect them to top the order soon enough.

Chrisoforos: Hamilton isn't operating at a higher lever. It's just Bottas is not as good as Rosberg.
Will Pearse: Ocon to Mercedes, Russell to Force India?
The Red Bulls are back out on the track for the closing stages of final practice. Daniel Ricciardo is on supersofts with Max Verstappen on softs.
The top five on the timesheet are all back in the pits and once again Mercedes are looking very strong ahead of qualifying. Lewis Hamilton is just a tenth of a second slower than Sebastian Vettel, whose best time has come on the quicker supersoft tyre.
"Very, very little drops of rain," reports Felipe Massa. "Very little."

The problem is there is no next Brazilian driver coming through. For the first time in I think 15 years there will be no Brazilian on the grid.
The paddock will miss Massa because he is a great person but not a great driver in my view.
