Si Marshall: Best - standing under the Monza Podium... Worst - getting drowned in the Monza monsoon on the Saturday! Bizarre - Liberty Media's decision to change an iconic and treasured logo.

Scott Coe: Worst... Vettel's behavior, especially in Baku. Best... Lewis beats him to claim title No.4.

We are at race 20 of 20 this season, and incredibly Lewis Hamilton has been on pole position in 11 of the other 19 races in 2017.

Only four men have been on pole position this season.

The best, worst and most bizarre moments of the season

Phil Slocombe: Best for me watching Catalunya GP, a present for my 70th from my sons. Lewis creamed past slow backmarkers into the final twisty section, leaving Seb in their wake as he drove away to extend his lead. Would be great if Valtteri could win race with Seb out of the points.

Gav‏: Best has got to be Lewis Hamilton getting that 4th title memorable and Mercedes parade lap side by side 1-2 after winning in Ferrari's back yard Monza, record poles and championship lead.

  10. No change on grid penaltiespublished at 12:33 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

    Andrew Benson
BBC Sport’s chief F1 writer at Yas Marina

FIA president Jean Todt has just finished a news conference in which he discussed many of the issues of the moment. There were no stand-out lines, but the main takeaway was that he emphasised that the proposal for a new engine in 2021 was just that.

“No decision has been taken,” he said, emphasising what he said was the collaborative nature of the process involving the governing body, the F1 Group and the engine manufacturers. This is clearly an attempt to try to take some of the heat out of what is threatening to become a difficult political situation.

On the unpopular engine-related grid penalties, things will clearly not change any time soon, Todt emphasising that the system was agreed years ago to keep costs under control. And he said as there was no unanimous agreement to stop the reduction of permitted engines per driver to three next year, nothing could be done about it, despite Red Bull’s contention that is a crazy idea.

The best, worst and most bizarre moments of the season

Kristine Kirby‏: Best - Lewis's reaction on getting Ayrton's helmet in Canada. Worst - Vettel having no spatial awareness at races globally. Most bizarre - 'Brake-testing' until Seb sputtered out a 'my fault' that sounded like a Honda engine struggling.

  12. Hamilton v Vettelpublished at 12:24 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

Sebastian Vettel is now Lewis Hamilton's big rival now and this how the top two in the standings compare this year.

Vettel had an insane start to the season, winning three times and coming second three times in the first six races of the year, but Hamilton took charge of the title race with five wins in a six-race period, while Vettel did not finish in two of those - in Singapore and Japan.

Those retirements are why this season is not having the dramatic finish we were all hoping for.

  13. How to beat Hamilton to the titlepublished at 12:18 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

This weekend is not going to be as dramatic as what happened in the last race of last season as Nico Rosberg became the world champion.

Lewis Hamilton led but, going against team orders, slowed up the field and drove slowly in an attempt to allow rivals to pass Mercedes team-mate Rosberg, but the German finished second to clinch his first, and only, title.

BBC Sport has spoken to Rosberg about what it took to get the better of his great rival and you can watch the video below.

  15. The bottom 10 this seasonpublished at 12:14 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

These are the bottom 10. McLaren showed a glimpse of what they could do earlier, with Fernando Alonso seventh and Stoffel Vandoorne eighth, which probably makes this table a bit painful for McLaren fans.

  16. The top 10 this seasonpublished at 12:09 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

This is how things stand in the points. Valtteri Bottas could still finish second overall if he wins and Sebastian Vettel comes ninth or worse.

Daniel Ricciardo and Kimi Raikkonen are battling it out for fourth and Max Verstappen, who has won two of the past five races, will be ruing the technical problems that have hampered him far too often.

The best, worst and most bizarre moments of the season

Today, we're asking for your memories of the 2017 season.

Chris Lord: Best: Ricciardo’s dive bomb overtakes. Worst: Alonso luck and confirmation of Halo. Won’t see drivers stare clearly at night anymore.

Derek Rennie: Best is Hamilton winning title. Worst is Verstappen not having a reliable car and bizarre would be Vettel side swiping Hamilton in Baku thinking it was OK.

Alan Mather: Best was getting to first ever grand prix at spa for my 50th birthday (Thanks Angela) and walking eau rouge, etc after the race! Worst not having enough time to walk entire track before I had to leave!

  18. What will happen in qualifying today?published at 12:05 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

Mercedes, once again, are the team to beat. Lewis Hamilton led a Mercedes one-two in third practice earlier on.

Now comes qualifying as everyone wants to be a good position to end their seasons on a high.

But remember what happened in Brazil, when Hamilton messed up qualifying and had to start at the back.
