The clouds are looking increasingly gloomy as Sergey Sirotkin returns to the pits, leaving the track empty with two hours of the session remaining.

A 13th and final time has just appeared on the timing screen because Sergey Sirotkin has just done a 1:44.148 in the Williams.

That's the Russian's first time of the day, done on his 15th lap.

Ninety laps for Toro Rosso so far today...

And Lewis Hamilton heads back out. He's also made the move from medium tyres to softs.

Looks like there isn't enough concerns about the weather to completely stop running because Fernando Alonso is on his way back to the circuit.

Everyone is back in the pits and that may well be because there are a few more drops of rain.

No changes at the top of the order but Lewis Hamiltonh is now up to sixth after 1:22.327. He's done 21 laps so far this afternoon. Steady away.

The rain is staying off for now after a few spots fell just before the start of the afternoon session.

Fernando Alonso has just done personal bests in sectors one and two but loses time in the final sector and doesn't improve on his 1:21.339.

He's also just completed his 30th lap, beating last year's total from day one.

The onboard camera could probably do with a new position.

Toro Rosso are really putting that Honda engine to the test. Brendon Hartley has done 89 trouble-free laps so far.

Carlos Sainz is out and is taking pretty easy with his laps. His latest time is a 1:32.550, eight seconds off the pace.
