Nice. We see what you did there...
Looks like it was the engine for Kimi Raikkonen, there were puffs of smoke from the back of the Ferrari just before he was told to stop.
"Stop the car, stop the car", Kimi Raikkonen is told.
The Finn switches everything off immediately and just silently glides down the hill and into the pit lane.
* all set on supersofts apart from Hamilton, Ricciardo, Raikkonen and Perez.

Kimi Raikkonen is into the gravel at Turn 4, the rear just briefly snapping away from him. He trundles across the grass strip and gets back onto the track.
Sebastian Vettel finally manages to improve on the super-soft, finding a tenth more to go fourth quickest with 1:18.585.

There will be a lot of head scratching from the teams and head scratching from Pirelli because when you bring a softer tyre to track, you expect faster times but for it to degrade quicker. Here they are degrading quicker but we're not getting the faster times.
Max Verstappen does manage to find something more on the super-softs, a 1:18.533 putting him third. That is, however, two tenths slower than pacesetter Lewis Hamilton managed on softs.
An error on Turn 9 by Sebastian Vettel and he backs out of his first super-soft tyre run.
Looks like Lewis Hamilton doesn't have any confidence in those super-softs just yet. He headed back to base after finding the gravel on his solitary run on the red-walled tyre.
Sebastian Vettel is giving the compound a go right now.

Dylan Crawley: would love to see this London GP on the Calendar, with cars allowed to go through all three entrances to the Mall! Measures 3.94 miles too!

Those are modifier buttons that you change around the lap to try and fine tune the car around each individual corner.
Someone like Fernando Alonso, a really experienced driver, will be more than capable of doing that.
"No left hand toggle on turn 5 and up on mid at Turn 10," Fernando Alonso is told by his race engineer.
Better from Valtteri Bottas on his next run on the super-softs, moving up to third with a 1:18.611.

Lewis Hamillton stuffs up his first lap on the super-softs as, like Valtteri Bottas, he gets caught out by a lack grip, a snap of oversteer sends him briefly into the gravel.

Diappointing for Bottas. Got a bit snap of oversteer. He lost a lot of time here.
Not a great first time for Valtteri Bottas as he struggled for grip on the new rubber, particularly through the final sector. He wasn't able to beat the time he did on the mediums.
