Very, very moody-looking clouds have gathered over the circuit. They are the sort of clouds that look like they could burst rain any minute and I should know as I live in Manchester.
Charles Leclerc is leaving it late to set a time but he does so now - a 1:18.910 - lifting him to 13th.
Six minutes remaining and the drivers in danger of being eliminated are:
11) Vandoorne
12) Ocon
13) Perez
14) Gasley
15) Leclerc
Haas are looking good. Very good. They are currently best of the rest with Kevin Magnussen seventh quickest, just 0.001s slower than Daniel Ricciardo, who is sixth.
Jack: Lance Stroll, going for a stroll nearly gets taken out by a JCB!
Ellie: Just watching Jos Verstappen in the Redbull garage. How much is he living vicariously through his son Max
Sean: The supersoft pace was so poor yesterday that i'd rather be 11th on the grid on softs than 7th on the grid on supersofts. The soft seemed to have 1.5s per lap on the supersofts in race trim. I'd wager that's worth more than the track position
Lewis Hamilton's first time in Q2 is a 1:17.166 but he reports that he was struggling with the rear on that lap. More time to come from him.
Times really tumbling now as Sebastian Vettel does a 1:16.802, putting him two tenths up on his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, who is P2.
Softs are the tyre of choice for Q2 as Kevin Magnussen kicks things off with a 1:18.045.

We're going round in circles with Williams... they don't have the same money as the other teams but surely they have the heritage to do better than this.
On with the show.

The more I see that Stroll accident, the more stupid it looks. It's like he just chose to drive off the track.

It's been a really bad weekend for Lance Stroll, he's out in FP1 and now he's hit the wall. Down in 19th position six tenths off his team mate.

4) Ricciardo
5) Hamilton
6) Bottas
7) Magnussen
8) Alonso
9) Grosjean

That's the first time Sainz has out-qualified Hulkenberg, who very surprisingly is out in Q1 after apparent problems on his first run and a not-quick-enough second run.
16 Hulkenberg
17 Ericsson
18 Sirotkin
19 Stroll
20 Hartley (No time)
