"We have a true four-horse race for pole position here."
Most drivers into the pits to get their tyres right for the final burst. Sebastian Vettel is not in his car at present, though - is his neck still playing up, I wonder?
Nico Hulkenberg, Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso, Marcus Ericsson and Pierre Gasly are the five heading out in Q2 as it stands.
Charles Leclerc goes ninth with a fine lap of 1:27.730 - he's definitely in with a shout of reaching Q1 here.

Lance Stroll, who went off in Q1, speaking to Sky Sports: "The car snapped very aggressively on the entry at Turn Six. I need to look into it in more detail. Does Britain need a Grand Prix?
Kin Chan: Amused by the level of arrogant self entitlement of so many British F1 fans. Commercially F1 needs a GP here but it’s nothing to do with it being the “home” or due to its history. There are way better circuits out there for both. Wake up and take off your rose tinted glasses.

Sergey Sirotkin, by the way, in addition to having a car full of gravel, is also under investigation by the stewards for being late into the pit lane after the red flag that followed Lance Stroll's accident. When it rains...
