Sebastian Vettel has come to the party just now. The best time of the session, the best time of the day with a 1:16.834.
One note, he is on the ultrasofts, with the Red Bulls setting their best times on the softs.
Marcus Ericsson has spun three separate times today. But there he is, seventh quickest and "best of the "rest" behind the normal top six.
No-one can fault the Swede's commitment!
Hamilton and Bottas are doing everything they can to match the times of the leading Red Bull two, but both Mercedes men give it just too much and go a bit wide.
Less than one tenth separates Verstappen (1:17.509), Ricciardo (1:17.556) and Hamilton (1:17.587).
Qualifying will be taking place at this time tomorrow. Make sure you don't miss it. Going to be tight.
Which drivers have over-achieved or under-performed?
Euan: I think Kimi has been the most consistent driver of the season so far but like Bottas he needs a victory.
Speaking of Fernando Alonso, he has just got his bearings wrong, by overshooting a corner, but he goes into the run-off area and comes safely back on to the track.

This part of the season has been doom and gloom for McLaren but this is a race Fernando Alonso has been strong in. It is a good chance of points for the team and for him.

Red Bull were quickest early on. They are again. First off was Daniel Ricciardo in the morning session, now Max Verstappen is the fastest with a 1:17.509. That's the fastest lap of the day.
Which drivers have over-achieved or under-performed this season?
Karen Waddy: Underachiever has to be Bottas, but through no fault of his own. I'd love to know what his points score could've been if he hadn't had such rotten luck this season.
Bob McFeil: My grandma’s mobility scooter is faster than the Williams car this year. A bad car combined with bad drivers- why are we surprised they’re bottom of the table?
Sergey Sirotkin's mobility scooter is slowest so far of the 19 to set a time, with Nico Hulkenberg yet to grace us with an appearance.
So, so close to a disaster for Lewis Hamilton. A big wobble from the world champion. But he saves the danger, but has to go massively off-track.
But you don't become a world champion for no reason.
The very next lap, Hamilton goes fastest with a new lead time of 1:17.587. Great stuff.
So Mercedes, fifth and sixth earlier on, were just winding us up then this morning. Hamilton's time is already almost two tenths better than his morning effort, with Bottas now taking top spot, by only seven thousandths of a second.
"I have no power," says Fernando Alonso.
"Scenario one, we are investigating, box this lap," is the message from McLaren.
Clearly no power is something McLaren are very used to at the moment.
Marcus Ericsson had some problems earlier on, when he only just avoided putting his Sauber into the wall and he has spun again after locking up all four tyres. Last earlier, and struggling again now.
Lewis Hamilton with a 1:17.875, just clear of Valtteri Bottas with a 1:18.093.
Which drivers have over-achieved or under-performed this season?
Ben Gason: How can people say that Kimi is under performing when he is third in the world championship? And he has had two retirements that weren't his fault which both cost him a fair amount of points, he is performing a lot better than people seem to realise.
Raikkonen's season so far - retirements in Bahrain and Spain, second in Azerbaijan and Austria, third in Australia, China, France, Great Britain and Germany, fourth in Monaco and sixth in Canada. Good enough? You tell us?
Sebastian Vettel, on the softs is a full second faster than anyone else at the moment, with a 1:18.997. The fastest time from earlier was Daniel Ricciardo's 1:17.613.

Ferrari also try some different tyre strategies, with Kimi Raikkonen using the mediums and Sebastian Vettel the softs.
The purple ultrasofts are also available as well.
