Jolyon Palmer has been discussing the prospect of a penalty for Hamilton after he appeared to impede Raikkonen in Q1.
Palmer points to the incident involving Antonio Giovinazzi and Nico Hulkenberg in Monaco, when the Sauber driver was adjudged to have blocked the Renault man in Q2.
There seems to be little difference between the two incidents, and Palmer believes the precedent set on that occasion - which saw Giovinazzi handed a three-place grid penalty - could bite Hamilton here.
Palmer also cited the Sainz incident in Canada, as referenced by Andrew Benson below.

Hamilton will be investigated after the session to see whether he blocked Raikkonen in Q1. Guilty would mean a three-place grid penalty, as with Sainz in Canada.

Hamilton DID impede Kimi Raikkonen. This must be investigated and I don't see how it's not a penalty.
