Alex Albon is just seven tenths behind Sergio Perez and will be in a position to make a move for fifth soon.

Alex Albon, in the second Red Bull, is catching Sergio Perez and might have a shot at the Mexican soon.
The meat in a Mercedes sandwich is not a very pleasant place to be. Free from being behind Lance Stroll, Valtteri Bottas is gaining on Max Verstappen.
The Finn does a 1:24.266 and is 3.2 seconds behind Verstappen but the gap is coming down by around two tenths per lap.

Lewis Hamilton was wary about the Red Bulls race pace before the race and he will be a bit anxious about Max Verstappen behind him. The youngster has just put in the fastest lap of the race.

Inderan: It speaks volumes that Max Verstappen has more wins than Valtteri Bottas who has had the bullet Mercedes car since 2017. He just makes up the numbers sadly. Give that seat to someone worthy methinks.

We are expecting the pit window to open about lap 15. If you are going for a two-stopper that is when we could see the first of the pit-lane action.
Sebastian Vettel wants to get into the top 10 but he's got some serious defending to do with Daniil Kvyat right on his tail. The Russian is one second behind.
Actually it was done easier than it was said for Valtteri Bottas as he breezes past Lance Stroll down the main straight and up into third.

You need a pace advantage of about 1.5 seconds here to get an overtake on this track and for a lot of the teams the plan for this stage of the race was to 'park the bus' - get sat in behind a faster car and hold what they have.

Further down the field Daniil Kvyat sweeps past Daniel Ricciardo down into Turn 4 and he is 12th. Sebastian Vettel remains 11th.

That will be easier said than done for Valtteri Bottas, but he is gaining on the Racing Point and DRS has been enabled.

It is bad news for Mercedes because they have Lance Stroll blocking Valterri Bottas from getting back involved with the front runners.
Lewis Hamilton keeps well out of the drama behind him and is cracking on with building up his advantage - he is 1.5 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen.
"We can still have a race," Valtteri Bottas is assured.
