Kimi Raikkonen has to put this lap in. He's got a car ahead, so he might even have a little bit of dirty air. Although he's just done the fastest first sector of anyone - so maybe the dirty air made a small slipstream into Turn One and gave him some help.

Everyone down from Charles Leclerc in ninth is back on track.

As it stands Raikonnen, Stroll, Schumacher, Latifi and Mazepin would be out.

The incident with Lando Norris, the board says 'incident has been noted', but there's not a lot the stewards can do about it. You just have to try and get a cleaner run next time out.

AGL: Surely there’s going to be some penalties for blocking against Lando Norris there? Three cars all in the final corner? That was poor.

This was the traffic that cost Norris on his first run. Here they come for the final time in Q1.

    Three minutes left.

A lot of traffic out there. We always knew this would be a problem. For Lando Norris, sector three was very ugly - there were about three different cars in front if him. Same with Charles Leclerc. It's just going to be one of those session and qualifying were you are just going to have to be aware of it.

Sergio Perez finds a bit of pace to go fourth. That's quicker than Hamilton but still slower than Gasly.

Lando Norris is currently 13th as teams prepare for a final run. Vettel is 14th and GIovinazzi 15th.

    • 16th Raikonnen
    • 17th Stroll
    • 18th Schumacher
    • 19th Latifi
    • 20th Mazepin
  10. Stroll and Raikkonen in dangerpublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 8 May 2021

Mazepin, Schumacher and Latifi are unsurprisingly in the bottom five but above them it's Lance Stroll in 17th and Kimi Raikkonen in 16th.

Six minutes remain in the session.

Lando Norris is going to have to improve on his lap and I don't know whether he has the tyre life or the fuel to give that another go. He'll certainly have to burn through another set of tyres.

Pierre Gasly jumps into third, Ricciardo sixth. Hamilton is fifth as it stands with Bottas top and Verstappen second.

McLaren's Lando Norris gets in a horrible spot of traffic and as a result only manages to get eighth. He'll likely have to do another lap. In trouble?

With 10 minutes to go Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso, Daniel Ricciardo and Pierre Gasly are yet to set a time so are therefore the bottom five.

  15. Bottas sets fastest timepublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 8 May 2021

So Perez is the first of the front runners to set a time but his effort is beaten by Hamilton, who is then beaten by Verstappen who in turn is beaten by Bottas.

That's the Finn on the medium tyre. Bottas' time was 1:18.005. Verstappen was 0.085 slower.

  16. Postpublished at 14:16 British Summer Time 8 May 2021

Hamilton and Bottas are out on track fitted with the medium tyres. Red Bull drivers Perez and Verstappen are on the softs - the quicker tyre.

Nicholas Latifi sets the quickest time of those four drivers. Briton George Russell actually comes in without completing a proper lap. Schumacher's first go is 2.5 tenths quicker than Mazepin's.

You want a head wind really when you come into a corner because it just gives you a nice feel and much more downforce - more consistent as well.

But I have to say, it's not very windy. It does look like pretty good conditions right now.

It's just the two Williams and the two Haas on track at the moment. Can either team get out of this session?
