Max Verstappen is 0.433 up on Hamilton halfway through his lap!
Red Bull's Sergio Perez only manages a time eighth-fastest on his soft tyres. That's behind Norris, Ricciardo and Raikkonen.
Verstappen is warming up for a charge. Can he beat Hamilton? We haven't seen Max on the softs yet today.
1:18.117 is the time to beat.

I wonder what has caused that puncture for Raikkonen? It could be from the Turn Eight kerb?
And now Lando Norris is in the gravel. What has happened here?
The replays show he lost the rear a little at Turn 10 and off the track he goes.
His tyres now look like they're been driven through icing sugar. Dust everywhere.
Raikkonen: "I think I have a puncture."
Alfa Romeo: 'Watch out for Latifi behind."
Raikkonen: "I don't care because..."
Alfa Romeo: "Yeah, no worries."
Kimi Raikkonen has peeled off the track and into a run-off area. It looks like he has a right rear puncture. He's seventh at the moment.

Ferrari are looking strong. They were quick yesterday, especially in the hands of Charles Leclerc.
It's not the finish to the lap Lewis Hamilton was after. He can only match his earlier time rather than beat it.
After their improvements a moment earlier, the Ferraris are only two tenths off Lewis.
A personal best in the middle from Hamilton...

It's a George Russell speciality to get into Q2 in the Williams. The Williams overall looks to be more quicker in qualifying spec.
We had both Williams into Q2 at Imola, with Russell getting up to 11th at one point in Portimao last week, and if he can qualify well again this weekend, then a circuit like this might just suit the Williams.
They can get some elbows out, good strategy and pit stops, and try and maintain where they start. It's a much better opportunity if they can start towards the top 10 and converting that into points. But the car is a lot more of handful over the longer runs than it is over one lap.
Almost everyone is on the softs now so expect some changes in the placings.
Lewis Hamilton has set a personal best in the first sector...
Out they come for a final burst...
Charles Leclerc goes second with Carlos Sainz third. Pleasing for Ferrari.
Hamilton still leads.

Jeremiah Kariuki: While Hamilton is setting some purple sectors for a flying lap, Tsunoda wants advance notice from his engineer. What a great way to spend Saturday early afternoon!
There's just the one car on track at the moment. The rest are waiting for a final blast with 20 minutes remaining in the session.
Hamilton is top of the timesheets but Max Verstappen is only 0.5 seconds back on the supposedly slower tyre.
It's set nicely.
Tetchy, Max...
Red Bull: "Hamilton opening a lap behind."
Verstappen: "Is it him again behind? Unbelievable. This guy in the last sector."

Deanna Troi: Yuki reminding me a bit of Kimi there.
Alpha Tauri: "Good braking into Turn 10, with DRS."
Tsunoda: "You always say that too late. Literally I'm in the entry..."
Alpha Tauri: "Yuki, calm down. It's fine."
Lewis Hamilton has swept his Mercedes around a little quicker, increasing the gap to 0.5 seconds to Verstappen and 0.3 seconds to Bottas.
Yuki Tsunoda, meanwhile, has just been told to calm down in a grumpy exchange with his engineer.
