Lap 54/71
The stewards are going to take a look at that coming together between Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda.
What was he doing?
NB: We missed a couple of words out there
Lap 53/71
That's our first DNF of the Mexico City Grand Prix. Yuki Tsunoda, as you can imagine, was livid with Daniel Ricciardo over the team radio. The McLaren man is running in 11th place.

It was always going to be a closing gap from a little bit too far back. I think Daniel Ricciardo was surprised that Yuki Tsunoda gave him the chance to put his nose in there but it was a trap.
Lap 52/71
Yuki Tsunoda is coming into the pits for a patch up. The Alpha Tauri crew fare trying to remove the nose but are having issues. Is this the end of Japanese driver's race? Ah, yes. It is.
Lap 51/71
Durch DJ Martin Garrix, who is supplying the music for the podium later, gives the thumbs up to the cameras. Glad your enjoying this one.
Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo has work to. Yuki Tsunoda is the man he's trying to beat but the McLaren hits the Alpha Tauri and Tsunoda goes off!
Still having drop-outs in power.
Lap 50/71
Lewis Hamilton is back on the team radio. Is the seven-time champ happy? Not quite...
It looks a bit like Miami, they will have to come in eventually. Sergio Perez will have to do 20 laps longer than you did on the medium to get to the end of the race.
Lap 49/71
Information time for George Russell and the possible outcomes of tyre life is being reeled off to the Mercedes driver.
Lap 48/71
Max Verstappen has a healthy 10-second advantage over Lewis Hamilton in second and is starting to lap the stragglers at the back.

The race is getting away from Mercedes but Lewis Hamilton has just put in a lap that was a lot quicker than the last handful of laps he had been doing. Suddenly he has found some pace. He has shaken Sergio Perez off after doing a much better lap time. He takes three tenths back from Max Verstappen. Is there some charge left in him?
Lap 47/71
That's it for the first round of pit stops. Softs, mediums and hards are all on display.
Lap 46/71
McLaren have called in Daniel Ricciardo and the Australian goes onto the soft tyres.

Chris Lord: Perez go for it! Softs with 20 to go!
Stephen Levett: I reckon it's lining up for a RB 1,2
lap 45/71
The main scuffle on track at the moment is the two Alfa Romeos versus Esteban Ocon's Alpine. Zhou comes into the pits, while Bottas calculates how to shift past the Frenchman.
Russell: "I am not happy with this tyre, it is sliding around a lot."
Hamilton: "This tyre isn't good."
Bonnington: "We did see a drop-off on the medium, we will struggle to get to the end on that."
