  1. We have an eagle...published at 18:14 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Streelman (+1 after 2)

Kevin Streelman has a wedge in his hands and will look to put this close on two, a par five, this can create a birdie opening.

Here it comes, straight in!! The American is loving this and he's back to within five of the lead.

    Watson bids heartfelt farewell

You know you're a special man when even after the two young-bucks of golf set up a dream pairing for day three, you still feature as the lead on the local paper.

The Augusta Chronicle is all for Tom Watson today and why not? After 43 Masters - the first in 1970 - he bowed out yesterday and made a wonderful par at the last to win rapturous applause from the galleries.

  3. Masters for Walespublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Donaldson (+1 after 3)

Stop the press, I can see the headlines.

Jamie Donaldson is going to win the Masters for Wales 25 years on from when Ian Woosnam did it.

JD has found a birdie on two and followed it with par to sit one over, just five off the pace.

  5. Birdie for Rosepublished at 17:59 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Rose (+1 after 1)

    HELLO JUSTIN ROSE.

That's how you do it in these conditions. Rip a 290+yd drive, flop a chip and then drop a putt from 30ft for birdie. Go on Justin, rattle out a 62, I dare you.

  6. How about this?published at 17:57 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

Neither Adam Scott or Charley Hoffman can take birdie chances on nine.

Still Charley Hoffman pitched in from the bunker earlier and you can click play to see it below...

    Scott (+5 after 8), Hoffman (+7 after 8)

Adam Scott and Charley Hoffman go pin seeking on nine. This approach shot has the wind behind so club down and watch it go. Both have great chances to pull a stroke back here.

  10. Bogey for English pairpublished at 17:50 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Casey (+3 after 1), Westwood (+3 after 1), Stenson (+4 after 7)

Two English buddies get to play together today in Lee Westwood and Paul Casey.

They kick things off on two over but it looks like both will slip backwards from the off as Westwood finds sand and bogey, Casey has 14ft for par... short.

Adam Scott's run of seven pars ends with a dropped shot on eight and AT LAST, we have a birdie - it's Henrik Stenson, rolling one in and clenching his fist on the seventh.

  11. Bogey for Poulter...published at 17:44 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Rose (+2 after 2), Pouler (+6 after 5)

Justin Rose makes a solid par-par start but three putts on the second green may leave him angry he didn't claim more. One short miss in particular will frazzle his mind somewhat.

I'm sorry to report that Ian Poulter is melting like ice cream in the sun. He found sand on five and the hole named 'Flowering Crab Apple' wrestled a shot from him.

  12. Weather watchpublished at 17:40 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

Brian Wacker of the PGA Tour brings us a weather latest and it does look like it may get a little easier in the coming hours.

  13. Two under for the daypublished at 17:38 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Cabrera-Bello (+1 after 3)

Rafa Cabrera-Bello is our go low man right now with birdie-birdie-par start. Cracking stuff from the Spaniard and he's back to one over.

  14. Windy out there?published at 17:33 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

  16. Bogey for Poulterpublished at 17:31 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Poulter (+5 after 3), Rose (+2 after 1), Scott (+4 after 7)

Putting is brutal out here and three putts Poulter is at it again to make bogey on three - five over - his hopes evaporating.

Well done Justin Rose, a rock solid two putt on the first is par.

I've just been praising Adam Scott but he finds the trees. Sorry Adam. Kiss of death.

  17. Postpublished at 17:29 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Scott (+4 after 7)

When I look at how hard Adam Scott is having to work for his seventh par of the day it does make me think there is some serious drama to come later.

It's a putt of 12ft or more and he drains it again.

  18. Jason Day on the range...published at 17:26 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Day (+1)

    Jason DayImage source, .

Jason Day is on the range ahead of his 18:30 BST start: "It's not an easy golf course out there. You need a lot of patience out there and take the birdies when they come.

"The exposed parts are hard with a stiff breeze but then when you are in among trees you don't know how much the wind is impacting the golf ball. It's very difficult to judge what it's going to do.

"It's golf, if it were easy everyone would be doing it."

  19. Postpublished at 17:22 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Poulter (+4 after 2)

Ian Poulter could not build on his huge drive on the second and only makes par. That bogey on one will be annoying him somewhat I'm sure. He's found the green on three but has an outside birdie chance.

These are the kind of putts you love making on you local course but that's because you only make one of them a year...
