    -5 Walker

Overnight leader Jimmy Walker has just teed off.

    The 37-year-old American is co-leader on five-under.

Walker, who won five times between October 2013 and March 2015 but has struggled this year, would join Willett, Johnson and Stenson as a first-time winner were he to hold on.

He is back in the clubhouse on three-under.

But earlier in his round Jordan Spieth came into a bit of bother on the 18th.

His ball hit a spectator and rolled under a chair.

Spieth was given a free drop and converted it into birdie, while the fan got a signed ball.

    +3 Willett -5 Stenson (Both 16*)

It's not looking good for Danny Willlett. He has hacked his way around the seventh for a bogey and drops to three-over.

Henrik Stenson stays in touch at the top with par.

  4. Spieth back in businesspublished at 18:45

Wales' Bradley Dredge drains a 15-foot birdie putt at 12 to get to two under, tied for 13th. Here's Jordan Spieth at the ninth, his 18th... horseshoes out but it's a par and he's in with a very encouraging 67 for three under. Given how he played yesterday, that's a minor miracle. Iffy putt from Bubba, however, and that's a 69 for level par.

    +4 Daly (18:50 BST)

I still can't get over the revelation yesterday that he had a whisky drinking competition with Andrew 'Beef' Johnston.

  6. Beem beamingpublished at 18:38

Great week so far for 2002 champion Rich Beem, a man who plays about four times a year apparently. He's followed a 69 with a 72 and is one over, a shot inside the projected cut. Mickelson hits the first tee, he had a first-round 71 so could do with a score today.

  7. Brit watchpublished at 18:37 British Summer Time 29 July 2016

Lee Westwood, Chris Wood, Paul Casey and Jamie Donaldson are all one-under and are yet to tee off.

Ross Fisher is the highest placed Brit on four-under with Andy Sullivan a shot back.

Beef is the only Brit back in the clubhouse on one-under.

  8. Reed makes a ricketpublished at 18:33

Not a good week for James Morrison of England, he followed up his 78 with a 76 for +14 overall. Shane Lowry of Ireland is five over after a 73... Reed misses a tiddler at seven, drops out of the lead...

    +2 Willett (15*)

Masters champion Danny Willett is hovering over the projected cut of +1.

The Englishman is two-over with just three holes to go.

    -5 Stenson (15*)

Henrik Stenson has just missed a 4ft putt for birdie to take the outright lead.

The Swede does not look happy with the result as he has to settle for par.

    +9 Johnson (15*)

It doesn't look like we will see Dustin Johnson back at Baltusrol tomorrow.

One of the favourites coming into the tournament, the world number two had a shocker in round one, carding a seven-over 77.

It has not been a complete disaster but he has dropped another two shots today with just three holes to play.

  12. Bubba under parpublished at 18:27

Japan's Yuta Ikeda is in with a 67 for three under overall, Bubba Watson has got himself back under par, he's two under for his round after 16. Playing partner Sergio Garcia, however, is going backwards - the Spaniard is three over for his round and four over overall.

    -1 Johnston

Crowd favourite Andrew 'Beef' Johnston is back in the clubhouse after carding a 69 one-under in round two.

He had broken into the top 10 briefly after three birdies in his first nine holes but struggled after the turn.

Solid effort for the Englishman, who was one of the most popular figures on the course yesterday with his high-fives, the shouts of 'We love you Beef' and chipping under a scorerboard.

  17. The cutpublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 29 July 2016

Today is the day when we could lose over half the field.

The top 70 players, plus ties will make the cut, which is currently projected to be +1.

  18. Spieth makes his movepublished at 18:10 British Summer Time 29 July 2016

    Spieth -4 (15*)

Jordan Spieth is making an early bid in round two.

The two-time major winner started on the 10th hole and carded a four-under-par 32 on the back nine.

Since then, the 23-year-old American has had six successive pars and is four under - one shot off the lead

However, he is in a spot of bother on the seventh. His tee shot went way right, in a puddle on a gravel path. A free drop follows and he smacks a wedge over the back of the green.

His chip back from the cabbage is a high floaty affair that stops far too quickly. A lengthy par putt slides four feet past. The bogey putt drops though and he is back to three under.

    Speaking of Henrik Stenson.

The Open winner is in the form of his life right now and has tied for the lead with Jimmy Walker and Patrick Reed on five-under.

That was due to an eagle on the par five, 554 yard, 18th hole.

But it is Patrick Reed who had made the biggest move today. The American is five-under for the day after 14 and has catapulted himself to the top of the leaderboard.

Overnight leader Jimmy Walker is teeing off in just under an hour.

    *Started on the 10th hole.
