    1UP Moore v Westwood (5)

Lee Westwood's first-hole lead has been eaten away but a focused Ryan Moore. The American is capable and at 31 in the world, is 15 places above the Englishman. It's a brave attempt from range by Westwood to halve the fifth hole but he's three inches out I'd say.

    Spieth v Stenson 1UP (9)

Stenson has this birdie putt at nine to win the hole, Spieth's effort just slid by. The Swede has about 12 feet left and he's only gone and made it...

Rose for par at seven after driving into the water and he misses, Fowler has dragged it back to all square.

    Holmes v Pieters 1UP (8)

If you go in the drink, you deserve to be punished. JB Holmes is as Thomas Pieters rolls a birdie putt close and has his par putt conceded. Can he cling to this lead for a while? It's been changing hands constantly in this match.

    A/S Reed v McIlroy (10)

Both Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy escape the tricky downhill 10th with pars and again they can't be split. It's a par five next though and you just know one of them will find birdie. Rory is the bigger hitter, he'll be taking the bunkers on near the dogleg.

The sad thing about this pair playing so well and progressing so quickly is it will be over before we know it. Lap it up folks.

    A/S Spieth v Stenson (8)

Stenson with a crackerjack approach from the sand at nine, he's really got the bit between his teeth at the moment. Spieth from the middle of the fairway and that's pretty handy as well...

  8. 'Rafa playing well right now'published at 19:08 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Walker v Cabrera-Bello 2UP (5)

    Carin Koch

Sometimes as a player it is nice to go first as you get to put the pressure on, especially if you are playing well. And Rafa is definitely playing well right now.

    Koepka v Willett 1UP (2)

Lovely shot from Koepka at the second, just nudging his pitch up towards the hole. Willett of Europe is already safely on. Here is Willett and he's feathered it in down the hill, leaving Koepka with a big pressure putt... Koepka misses, Willett goes ahead...

    A/S Holmes v Pieters (7)

Thomas Pieters rolled home a gutsy birdie putt on seven to draw level against JB Holmes for the second time and it's maybe got under the skin of Kentucky's Holmes. I did say earlier I expect him to fold like a floppy towel and on eight, he sends his tee shot into the drink. A chance for big Thomas.

    A/S Reed v McIlroy

A massive gasp from the thousands gathered down on this hillside. The officials come running over to have a look at Reed's shot, but no one is looking for too long. That means it is OK.

    D Johnson v C Wood 1UP (2)

Chris Wood converts a birdie putt on the second hole to take the lead against world number two Dustin Johnson, that would be quite the scalp for the world number 32.

    Snedeker v Sullivan 2UP (3)

Rose has gone swimming off the tee at seven, I'l let you know what Fowler's riposte was. Here's Andy Sullivan with a four-footer to go two up at the third and in it goes, Europe really riding a wave at the moment...

    A/S Spieth v Stenson (8)

A half in three for Mickelson and Garcia at five... over at the par-three eighth, Stenson has clawed it back to all square against Spieth after that majestic tee shot.

  17. 'I've got a tiny head'published at 18:59 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    A/S Reed v McIlroy (9)

After both finding the 10th fairway, Rory McIlroy and Patrick Reed talk about the American's hat. You may notice Rory doesn't wear one.

"I have the tiniest head. I have to get Nike to custom make my hats," says McIlroy.

    Fowler v Rose 1UP (6)

Fowler for birdie at six and he's rolled it in. Rose had already made his birdie putt so Europe remain one up...

    1UP Mickelson v Garcia (4)

Mickelson at the short par-four fifth, cutting it round the corner, and it's finished not too far from the pin. Garcia's is almost as good, didn't have the same shape as Mickelson's, but there's more than one way to skin a cat

  20. 'My heart can't take it'published at 18:56 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    A/S Reed v McIlroy (9)

    Andrew Magee
American PGA Tour winner on BBC Radio 5 live

I'm not sure my heart can take as much as we had at the eighth green. This is a very difficult ninth hole.

It is such a strange game, golf. When you think you've got it and can't miss another putt, and then you miss a five-footer.
