A/S Reed v McIlroy (2)
On the second green Rory McIlroy has that downhill putt of eight to 10 feet for the win. It's tricky down the slope though and he's too cautious, leaving some steam off it. Another halved drag. To the par five next for this pair.

Jordan Spieth has got a magical short game and that proved it right there.
1UP Spieth v Stenson (1)
Stenson should be in for a four at the first, his birdie attempt stays low, before Spieth gets in the first telling blow, blading in with his wedge from the collar.
Holmes v Pieters
On the tee, Thomas Pieters and JB Holmes. Two more contrasting builds you could not see. Pieters is 6ft 4in, lean, skinny if anything. He likes going to cross fit in his spare time apparently. Holmes is 5ft 9in and somewhat more rounded around the middle. He looks like the type of guy who likes a good American barbecue.
Someone in the crowd is singing "please arrest me, please arrest me."
Pieters finds the left rough but I fancy him to prove too much for Holmes.
A/S Reed v McIlroy (1)
Rory McIlroy with the better approach into the second. He holds his stance and glares at the ball after lofting an iron. He's gone over the line of the front bunker and landed on the downslope, 12ft or so left but tricky downhill. Patrick Reed is probably twice as far away.

There has been plenty made of the crowd at Hazeltine this weekend but there is no denying this Ryder Cup is being played out among an incredible atmosphere. "A sensational sporting cauldron," BBC golf correspondent Iain Carter called it earlier.
With that in mind, we would love you to share the greatest atmospheres you have experienced: Sitting in the opposition end watching your side win? Hairs standing up on the back of your neck at that once in a lifetime gig? We want them all, and pictures too...

Elizabeth McColl: Team Europe: do what you did in Medina.
David James: Absolutely incredible scenes on the first tee at Hazeltine -- great atmosphere.
John McEnerney: Singles day memories the late great Christy O'Connor Jnr stitching a 2 iron to 4ft from 229yds in 89! A few of them 2day.
"Never give in, never give in, never, never, never" - Winston Churchill.
A reminder of just one of the messages hanging in the Europe locker room.
Spieth v Stenson
Here's Henrik whipping one over the tree and landing it slap, bang in the middle of the green. Good lad... Spieth now with his approach and that's pretty decent, although his ball ends up on the collar over the back.

It is fantastic. I feel so lucky to be here. It is great to see it from a different perspective. This is our Super Bowl. I have never seen anything like it.
Spieth v Stenson
Stenson goes forth into the wilds and wins some American fans by quipping "what a @*#@ shot". Whatever the outcome, Stenson's going to enjoy the day by the sounds of things.
A/s Reed v McIlroy (1)

It's a huge, huge putt for a half from Reed.
Give it to him, come on, just give it to him. It's just a foot and a half for McIlroy.
A/S Reed v McIlroy (1)
Patrick Reed clips his chip and it's a little shy of pace, he will have eight feet for par. Rory McIlroy from the sand, he lands the ball in the collar of rough before the green and it's a touch of brilliance. What vision to use the thicker grass to soak up pace, his ball comes to rest a foot short.
Reed to putt first. He knows McIlroy will tap in so this has to drop. On its way... brilliant putt and he erupts. Reed is losing his marbles on the green, screeching to the crowd and they just give it more and more. Hole halved, but only after the American makes McIlroy putt a tiddler. That's a bit naughty.
Spieth v Stenson
Henrik Stenson gives a jaunty "hello, ladies" as he makes his way to the first tee and is assailed by a couple of enthusiastic female supporters. Oh dear, the Swede has hooked his tee shot a long way left, although he will get a free drop. Spieth, who's been struggling with his driving all week and is apparently struggling with hand injury, pings his opening drive straight down the middle.
