  7. Sergio hopes for Seve inspirationpublished at 18:42 British Summer Time 9 April 2017

    Garcia -6 (tee-time 19:45 BST)

Sergio Garcia says he will draw inspiration from Seve Ballesteros as he heads into the final day in a share of the lead with Justin Rose at six under par.

Seve, the greatest golfer produced by Spain - and arguably Europe - died in 2011.

The two-time Masters champion, who was the first European to win the Masters in 1980, would have been celebrating his 60th birthday on Sunday.

"It would be nice if he helps from up there," says Garcia.

  8. Golf's key fan...published at 18:38 British Summer Time 9 April 2017

Niall Horan is doing his bit for golf, this tweet got 12,000 re-tweets. If golf needs a vehicle to engage a young audience, the 5ft 7in Irishman is an ideal candidate to carry it. Still, he's probably got enough on his plate...

  9. Focus on your gamepublished at 18:34 British Summer Time 9 April 2017

    Shaun Micheel
2003 US PGA Championship winner, BBC Radio 5 live

"I can't see anyone coming back to the field with the guys at the top playing that well. Jordan Spieth will have a number. I was a scoreboard watcher - I don't think you can have a number in mind.

"But you think about those things all the time. You hear the roars - that just means there are opportunities out there for yourself. You can't control what other people are doing."

  10. Bookie call...published at 18:33 British Summer Time 9 April 2017

Mobile phones are banned on the course at Augusta, hence the demand for old-school pay phones.

What would you be so desperate to call anyone about that you'd miss the golf though?

If any of these are ringing in a bet, they'll get odds of Justin Rose 3/1, Jordan Spieth 4/1 and Sergio Garcia at 9/2.

    Who is your money on?

  11. "11 under par wins it"published at 18:30 British Summer Time 9 April 2017

    Jay Townsend
BBC Radio 5 live at Augusta

"Justin Rose will probably have a number in mind. We know Jordan Spieth will have a number in mind. I don't know what he will be thinking - but I think 10 under is a play-off anything better than that is an outright win. I am feeling a play-off."

So there you have it, half of those out there under par. Augusta seems ripe for attacking.

The sky there is bright blue, the flags on the pins are barely fluttering.

Fred Couples makes birdie on one to get back to level par.

Let's cross to the 5 live team in Augusta for some predictions...

  13. Eagle for Leftiepublished at 18:20 British Summer Time 9 April 2017

    Mickelson (E)

    Augusta is already being tamed.

Phil Mickelson started down the leaderboard at even par, but has jumped up to tied 11 with an eagle on the par-5 second.

Big Phil's record on Pink Dogwood this week: eagle, birdie, birdie, eagle. He's the second man to bag an eagle on two today, alongside Steve Stricker.

Nearly half of the early starters are under par so far - good news for all of us hoping for a birdie-fest.

Hope you're enjoying the Facebook live below.

On the course the first thing we are looking for is how accommodating this course is today. Are the pins in nice places? Is the wind low?

The easier it is, the more chance someone can come from within the chasing pack to usurp our leaders - Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose.

Sunday is normally setup by organisers in a way where players can throw the kitchen sink at pins. Let's hope so, we want drama.

I mean look at what it means.

It made Sir Nick Faldo smile, Tiger cried, big Phil grinned like a Cheshire Cat.

Think what it must be like. Coming down the back nine, knowing every other man out there is trying to rip your dream away. You get over the line, the relief, seeing your family, the champions of the past. All of that emotion gets wrapped up in the jacket, it's more than a prize.

  19. Green Jacket Daypublished at 18:00 British Summer Time 9 April 2017

It is, quite simply, Green Jacket day.

One, usually ill-fitting piece of menswear, which has a circular badge sewn on as if these men have just completed their 25m swim.

As far as I know, the box-fit style jacket disappeared in the 90s. Not here, not ever.

But forget the fit, it means the world and more. All those golfing dreams as a kid, all those hours on the range, the obsessing over putting stroke, the living and breathing of one's sport - all of it will feel worthwhile when that jacket lands on your shoulders.
