Jordan Spieth wins The Open
Once the snappers have got the pictures you'll see in your morning newspapers, Jordan Spieth wanders around the perimeter of the 18th green to lap up the congratulations from the hundreds of fans gathered.
If I had a pound for every handshake, high five and selfie that the American dishes out then I'd almost be as rich as him.
Prize money of £1.4m will be wired into his account overnight by the way.

Speech over, now for the trophy pics. On the green, trophy in the air, trophy left, trophy right. They're all good but sitting on the edge of the bunker is my favourite Open champion pose.Say cheese Jordan!

Space was at a premium on the 18th as Jordan Spieth enjoyed the best walk in golf...
...it was so scarce in fact that one bloke decided to shin up a tree...
Jordan Spieth wins The Open
Champion golfer Jordan Spieth receives the Claret Jug and addresses spectators: "Thank you so much for coming out. As players we couldn't appreciate it more. I want to thank the R&A for allowing us to tear up your course for a couple of days. What an incredible Open. The way it set up and the weather cooperated. We owe you special thanks.
"Thanks to my caddie Michael for keeping me there today after that bad start. This is as much his as mine. Thank you Mikey, you deserve all the credit in the world for this championship.
"This is absolutely a dream come true. I drank some wine from the Claret Jug when Zach Johnson won it two years ago and people said that was bad luck. I started to believe them too after nine holes today.
"Matt, I really enjoyed battling with you buddy. I got the good breaks today. What a great champion Matt is and a class act. I took about 20 minutes to play a shot today. Matt took it in his stride with a smile. He sets a great example for all of us.
"Thanks to the volunteers. I'm going to take this back to America which may upset a few of you all but I'll return it. Thank you very much, what an incredible honour."
Many golf experts reckon there is a bit of Tiger Woods in Jordan Spieth. Namely their shared stone-cold desire to win.
So perhaps it is apt that Tiger has been among the first to congratulate his fellow American...

Spieth (-12)
Spieth has hit 50 of 72 greens in regulation this week, only a handful of players have been more accurate, with American Russell Henley top on 53. Believe it or not, he's 100th in the field for hitting the fairway off the tee. Testament to his ball striking from the rough perhaps?
The newly-crowned Open champion is welcomed back onto the 18th green to a rapturous reception, pausing for a moment - "Well..."
Jordan Spieth finds his voice, chooses his words thoughtfully and carefully, thanking the crowd, the organisers, his playing partner Matt Kuchar and, most importantly, his caddie.
Spieth handles the moment like he handles everything on the course: with composure and class.

"Well played Jordan." Even the Birkdale scoreboard is offering congratulations to the new champion golfer of the year.
How many majors will this young man win? Just 23, he's on three, one behind a certain Rory McIlroy. He has three wins in 19 major starts.
Time for one final 'Kooooch'! at Royal Birkdale this year. The 39-year-old American, who made his Open debut here back in 1998, did not get the fairytale finish he hoped for - but, boy, did he push it close.
Alfie Plant is grinning like a man whose numbers have just come up on the Euromillions. Theat's because the young English amateur is stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Jordan Spieth and Matt Kuchar, ready to collect the Silver Medal.

Paolo Brand: Have to say Spieth needed numerous instances of outrageous good fortune to win #TheOpen, external. One day his luck will run out. One day..
Andrew Priestley: The mental strength required for Jordan Spieth to play the 14th-17th in -5 after just losing his lead should not be underestimated.
David Nicholson Hirst: Spieth isn't the best golfing talent out there but probably one of the best ever players, easily. Mental edge is frightening.

Zach Johnson, who has shared a house with Jordan Spieth this week reacts on 5 live: "Very impressed. It's one thing to come back from a bad round. It's another to come back from a bad beginning and then obliterate the golf course. It's the sign of a true champion.
"He's a champion, a class kid and very worthy of hoisting the Claret Jug.
"To me, the six foot bogey putt on 13 was massive. You're talking about two of my good friends. Matt and I grew up together, we live close, our kids play together. I feel for him."

Another of Spieth's friends, Zach Johnson, said he feels for Matt Kuchar, but that the 23-year-old deserves his success.
"This moment is second to none," the 2015 Open champion told BBC Radio 5 live.
"There are numerous guys that could win every week, so it's very impressive that he's a stalwart and has the intangibles between the ears."

What a picture. This could be a locker room in any golf club across the UK. Jordan Spieth sits slumped in a comfy armchair, solemn-faced, emotionally-drained, contemplating what he has just achieved.
Matt Kuchar is grinning as Spieth explains to him what the hell was going on at the 13th.
BBC Radio 5 live
One of Jordan Spieth's good friends Rickie Fowler has been sharing a house with The Open champion and a few of the other American players.
"I didn't get to watch a whole lot because I was playing," he told BBC Radio 5 live. "I went back to check the bags and they were on 17 - to do what he did after avoiding a big number on 13 shows a lot of fight.
"We all know he has it, but to do it on one of the biggest stages... we're looking forward to celebrating together.
"He's a special golfer, fun to be around. We have a lot of fun away from the golf course and it's cool to see him having this success."
Jordan Spieth wins the Open
Let's put Jordan Spieth's victory into some historical context.
** Warning: the 23-year-old is keeping some illustrious company.
Spieth is the second player - after Jack Nicklaus - to win three legs of the Grand Slam before age 24.
And he has become the youngest champion of The Open since Seve Ballesteros in 1979 .
Jay Townsend
BBC Radio 5 live golf expert
He was in all kinds of problems. This guy really is something special.
He's the second youngest to win three of the four grand slams and all eyes will be on him next month at the US PGA.
He's really an amazing guy.
