It's been a torrid afternoon for Kyle Stanley, who headed into the final day as one of the co-leaders.

He bogeys at 10 and is now three over for the round and quickly dropping out of the running.

  2. Bogey for Poulterpublished at 22:10 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Poulter -8 (12), Kim -10 (11)

Oh no, the Ian Poulter par-ty is over.

The Englishman went 39 holes without dropping a shot at Sawgrass, but then does so on the par-four 12th.

That puts him back to eight under, two shots off leader Kim Si-woo, who holds for par on the 11th.

  5. Eagle!published at 22:07 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Oosthuizen -8 (11)

It's Louis Oosthuizen. The South African is back in contention.

He makes the green in two on the par-five 11th and then rolls in an eagle putt from 20-odd foot - that was in all the way.

A smile on the face of Louis, he's back at eight under.

  6. Kim in the sandpublished at 22:04 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    -10 (10)

Kim Si-woo did the hard work earlier on the 11th and then goes and overhits what looked like a straightforward approach from just short of the green.

It skips on, finding the fluffy white sand of the greenside bunker. He's back on the smooth stuff though, good recovery.

  7. Day splashing aroundpublished at 22:02 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Day +5 (16)

Jason Day must think he's bought a ticket to a water park.

The Australian former world number one has found the wet stuff twice in successive holes.

His tee shot at 16 came down with some force it sounded like a someone bombing into a swimming pool.

  8. Swinging to glory?published at 22:00 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    BBC golf correspondent at Sawgrass

Kim Si-woo is coached by Justin Rose's tutor Sean Foley. To ease the pressure on the 21-year-old's troublesome back they work on a more exaggerated hip turn on the backswing. It seems to be working rather well.

News of defending champion Jason Day is not good. He has just taken a quadruple-bogey nine at the 16th.

  9. Kim on the attackpublished at 21:59 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Kim -10 (10)

Kim Si-woo finds himself with an awkward lie at 11, it's missed the bunker but nestled halfway up a slope.

Is he going to take it on? He is. The fearlessness of youth. Risky, but rewarding. That finds the far end of the fairway and leaves the Korean with plenty to aim for on the green.

    Poulter -9 (11)

Ian Poulter was the only player to card a bogey-free round at Sawgrass on Saturday.

He's through 11 without a bogey today, and I make that 39 successive holes without dropping a shot for Poulter this week.

  12. Poulter birdies at 11published at 21:53 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Poulter -9 (11)

    Ian PoulterImage source, Reuters

Ian Poulter is in the sand at 11 with his second shot.

There's little room for error there - if you go left you find the rough, right you find the sand. Any further right and it's in the drink.

That's superb from the Englishman, though. He's not fazed by the bunker and clips a wedge on to a puttable position on the green, four feet maybe? And a birdie opportunity.

Perfect. Nerves of steel this man, birdie and now one shot off the lead.

  13. Poulter keeps in touching distance of Kimpublished at 21:50 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Poulter -8 (10) Kim -10 (10)

Business as usual for Poulter who putts for a par at the 10th.

Kim yet again shows great recovery with a brilliant bunker shot on the same hole to leave him with a putt for par.

  14. Oosthuizen's birdie chancepublished at 21:49 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    -6 (10)

Louis Oosthuizen has a lengthy putt for a birdie at 10, that would cancel out the bogey a hole earlier.

It gathers momentum, picking up a bit of speed and racing towards the cup, is it... not quite, he'll putt for par.

  16. Cool Kimpublished at 21:40 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Kim -10 (9)

The Sawgrass spectators are being sprayed with water to keep them cool.

One man who has certainly kept his cool today is Kim Si-woo. That putt from 15 feet on the ninth was special.

  17. Kim marches onpublished at 21:34 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Kim -10 (9)

Good recovery from Kim Si-woo on the ninth.

Not the best swing to start off proceedings but he finishes with a delightful putt for a birdie to extend his lead to two.

He has his game face firmly on, the 21-year-old South Korean wants this one.

  18. Carling backs Poulterpublished at 21:32 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

The former England rugby union captain has full belief in his man.

Poulter's long time caddie Terry Mundy has just popped into the media centre to grab a bottle of water.

Mundy has given up his bag carrying duties due to a troublesome back and now performs road manager duties for his boss. James Walton is now the man on the bag.
