Leaders: Matsuyama -7 (8) Kisner -6 (7)
Now Matsuyama has a much shorter but still testing putt for his par a hole ahead of Kisner. No danger. Right in the middle of the cup. He's maintains his position as the outright leader.
I wonder if he's looked up to the leaderboard yet? If things stay like this Japan have their first male major winner.
Leaders: Matsuyama -7 (7) Kisner -6 (6)
Here's Kisner's par putt. It's about 20 feet. That looks a little left and is! The American drops a shot. He's back at -6. Our overnight leader, the man who has lead or co-lead after all three rounds so far, has dropped off the top.
Leaders: Kisner -7 (6) Matsuyama -7 (7)
HUGE moments. Kisner has indeed found the water on the seventh.
He's taken his penalty and a drop back towards the fairway. He is now hitting his fourth on the par five. That's not too bad. He'll have a chance to save his par.
Leaders: Kisner -7 (6) Matsuyama -7 (7)
Is that water? Kevin Kisner could be in big trouble here on the seventh. He's right in the middle of the fairway but hits his three iron right and I think I saw a splash.
Matsuyama won't know about that one hole ahead on the eighth but can he pile on the pressure? He too is in prime position on the fairway but no! The Japanese world number three gets too much on it and goes through the green into the rough.
Leaders: Kisner -7 (6) Matsuyama -7 (7)
That's a big move from Hideki, I think. For the first time today Kevin Kisner has company at seven under. How will both men deal with the pressure? They've got themselves a two-shot lead from the chasing pack.

Paolo Brand: Really hope Matsuyama, Molinari or Oosthuizen wins this PGAChampionship. This major badly needs a quality winner
-7 Matsuyama (7)
We have a new joint leader as Matsuyama brushes in from five feet for back-to-back birdies. Two men at seven under now but Kisner will have a chance to play the par five in just a few moments.
Reed -4 (8)
Patrick Reed's scorecard is a tad messy. Par, bogey, birdie, birdie, bogey, birdie, birdie, par. The upshot for the American is though that gets him to -4 and he too is now just three shots off the lead.
There are so many who could win this. I don't know where to look!
-7 Kisner; -5 Stroud
Kisner's putt is perfectly judged for line and drifts in sharply on the break, only to run out of gas only a couple of revolutions short of the cup. Stroud misses on the left for par though and he drops back to five under, two back.
-7 Kisner; -6 Stroud
The sixth hole is playing 230 yards today and Kisner has hit it almost exactly that distance, he is going to have another birdie opportunity with that silky putting stroke of his. Playing partner Stroud finds the bunker short of the green and he puts his hands on his knees in exasperation. A long, long way to go yet Chris.
Oosthuizen -5 (7)
Is this the start of the Louis Oosthuizen surge? A birdie on seven gets him back to five under and within two of Kisner's lead. If experience is what you go for when picking your winning then surely the South African is your man out of the contenders.
-7 Kisner; -5 Stroud
But the leader keeps churning out the pars, five in succession for Kisner to start his final round. He strokes it in the centre of the cup with metronomic precision. Stroud sees a birdie chance flirt with the hole but fail to drop.

BlueLightsMD: Re Steve @ 20.19 - is that a Christmas tea towel in the middle of August?!
It seems so but I am going to defend Steve here because the curry looks excellent.
-6 Matsuyama (6)
This time it drops for Matsuyama at the sixth. The longest putt he has made since the first round is 10 feet but this one is around five and it sneaks in the side door for his first birdie of the day, back to one off the lead and they are closing in on Kisner.
Poulter +1 (18)
Ian Poulter has also completed his round as he ends on one over par. There was some controversy early in his round as he lost his ball off the tee leading to a dispute regarding his drop with an official.
"I hit way right and they didn't find it so it was a mess up from start to finish," the Englishman said.
"I haven't driven well at all this week, in fact it was really poor. Today started great but I limped in.
"From the start of the year to where I stand now is miles apart from a mental and playing stand point. It is the old me that is back."
You can't get those sort of shots with your mobile, no matter how many megapixels you have these days.
Will our leader see it out? Could someone cause a surprise?

-7 Kisner; -6 Stroud
Another fairway bunker for Kisner and his escape flies just through the green to give his short game another examination. Stroud is safely on the putting surface and he wipes his brow with a handy, compact flannel. It's certainly humid out there in North Carolina, let's just hope those wretched thunderstorms steer clear.
