  2. Bogey for Molinaripublished at 22:28 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

    Molinari (-6)

Francesco Molinari has no right to walk off the 16th with a par. He nearly does as his 12-foot par putt just holds its line on the left side of the hole.

Dropped shots are costly on the home straight - and that puts Justin Thomas ahead of the pack on his own.

  3. Tension at the toppublished at 22:28 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

Matsuyama right of the par three 13th, Kisner pulling his second into the rough to the left of the 12th green. Nice shot from Stroud sets up a birdie opportunity but suddenly it is Thomas who is on his own in the lead.

    Fowler (-5 after 18)

Fowler on the last... it's a beauty! His third shot lands in the middle of the dancefloor, sidling up to the hole with a hop and a roll. That's only for par though...

These leaders are feeling the stress massively. There's no doubt about that.

    Thomas (-7 after 12)

Come on Justin Thomas, you can't have everything. After using up most of his round's luck on the 10th green (see our video below), he doesn't get any help by the contours on the 12th.

The co-leader expects his birdie attempt to sweep in from right to left... it doesn't.

    Par will have to do.

  7. Matsuyama out of the leadpublished at 22:21 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

    -6 Matsuyama, Kisner, Stroud

A bogey five for Matsuyama at the 12th but he joins Kisner and Stroud one shot off the lead. Seven players are separated by two shots.

    Molinari (-7 after 15)

Mamma mia! Francesco Molinari goes off piste on the 16th - this is not the time. He pushes his drive into the sand, then hacks into the thick stuff to the right of the green.

The Italian is going to have to work hard to escape with a par here.

  9. Final group after 11 holespublished at 22:19 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

    -6 Kisner, Stroud

Now Stroud misses for par from four feet with a tentative one, suddenly it is all getting very edgy. The final group are now both out of the lead.

  10. At the toppublished at 22:18 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

Trouble for Matsuyama here, his second shot at the 12th has gone bounding through the green and into deep vegetation. Kisner has played a sublime chip to five feet one hole back. He has made 53 putts out of 53 from inside seven feet but this seven footer lips out. He's back to six under. Matsuyama's third stays in the spinach. It's all happening.

    Fowler (-5 after 17)

Fowler on the 17th... a putt about the length of Peter Crouch's king-size bed to save par.

A confident stroke from the majorless American, he rarely does anything less, straight into the middle of the drain.

One suspects he MUST birdie the last.

    Molinari (-7 after 15)

Five alive! Francesco Molinari has muscled in on the leading pack.

The Italian hustles another birdie out of nothing on the par-five 15th to take a slice of the leaderboard pie.

That's four birdies in five holes for the two-time European Ryder Cup winner. Does a first major beckon?

  13. FIVE share leadpublished at 22:13 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

    -7 F Molinari (15)

    -7 Thomas (11)

    -7 Matsuyama (11)

    -7 Stroud (10)

    -7 Kisner (10)

  14. Kisner in troublepublished at 22:12 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

Kisner, currently one of those co-leaders, in the fairway bunker at the 11th and his second lands in the crowd to the right of the green. With the pin on the right edge it is going to be some up and down from there.

    Thomas (-7 after 12)

Justin Thomas plops in his par putt, then gives his driver a rip on the 13th tee. Nearly knocked the paint off it.

  16. Postpublished at 22:09 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

    Fowler (-5 after 16), Thomas (-7 after 12)

Rickie Fowler has tricky putt on 16 to stay aboard the birdie train... he gives it a good push up the hill... but not enough. He cans the par putt to stay three shots, sorry, make that TWO, behind Hidiki Matsuyama who has just bogeyed.

Justin Thomas, another member of the Baker's Bay Boys (that's a band name right there), has a sniff of a birdie on the 12th. Just on the fringe, 10 foot(ish) away... doesn't have a chance.

  18. Matsuyama bogeypublished at 22:06 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

Was not expecting that, a straight push from Matsuyama from inside four feet at the 11th, it touches the hole but doesn't drop and we have co leaders again at seven under. Not just two either, there are four of them.

It's going to take nine under, possibly 10 under, to win this.

  20. Tight at the toppublished at 22:05 British Summer Time 13 August 2017

So there are five players within two shots of the lead. We know we are in for a long night. I've got a busy day tomorrow as well, I've got to sell a flat. Unless anyone on here wants to make an offer?
