It looks to be a fine but blustery morning across the pond.

Plenty of the field's best players are already beginning their rounds with the defending champion Brooks Koepka, English major winners Danny Willett and Justin Rose and American Patrick Reid, the winner at Augusta a couple of months back, all either stepping up to the tee or going along their first couple of fairways.

Shortly a monster of a group will begin on the 10th. For that one Rory McIlroy is joined by Americans Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson. Just the 12 Majors between those three.

American trio Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson and Tiger Woods tee off later in another tasty match-up. Sergio Garcia, Tommy Fleetwood and Henrik Stenson are also among those to begin their quest this evening.
