    Molinari -13, Woods -11, Finau -11 (1)

Tiger... middle of the fairway... chewing the fat with his caddie Joe LaCava.

"Get up a little," Woods implores. A bounce on the right fringe sees his ball almost apologetically crawl onto the green.

Two putts from South Carolina for a par five...

    Molinari -13, Woods -11, Finau -11 (1)

Molinari, fairway wood in hand, has 307 yards to go downhill. Should be out of reach for the Italian... it is but he's spanked it waaayy down there. Excellent shot.

Now then, what does Tony Finau do? Stick or twist? Neither really. He's pushed it short of the bunker guarding the right of the green.

  3. Bogey for Poulterpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Poulter -8 (2)

Ian Poulter pays big time on two. The par five is one where even a par is a bit ordinary but he finds sand and then makes a pig's ear of a wedge in. A missed putt brings up bogey.

  4. The good and the bad...published at 14:47 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Scott -6 (4) Mickelson -7 (5)

Here's where Phil Mickelson's ball ended up after a 215 yard approach on the fifth.

    That's a birdie.

Adam Scott not having as much fun, taking double on four after chipping over the green.

  5. Tiger out of troublepublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Molinari -13, Woods -11, Finau -11 (1)

...and here is another BIG break. Tiger Woods is the John Virgo of the Masters. (Ask your parents...)

Woods finds his ball nestle nicely on the pines and another trick shot leaves him back on the fairway and a green in regulation more than a possibility.

Another 217 yards to go for the 14-time major winner...

  6. 'Tiger needs to straighten out the driver sharpish'published at 14:44 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Iain Carter
BBC Sport golf correspondent at Augusta National

Tiger Woods has had the breaks this week. He needs that to continue and he needs to straighten out the driver sharpish.

He went with a three wood on the first and found the fairway. He went with a driver there and he's in trouble.

    Molinari -13, Woods -11, Finau -11 (1)

Back on the second tee and the big dogs are out.

Molinari... fairway. Finau... fairway. Woods... way left in the trees. And there is a creek lurking down there too.

  8. Postpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    McIlroy -4 (16*)

Too little too late for Rory, but he's going down fighting. A birdie on 15 puts him three under for the day - only Kevin Kisner, who has just sunk his fourth birdie on the the back nine, is scoring lower today.

  9. Postpublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Koepka -10 (1) Simpson -9 (1)

    "RIGHT. FORE RRRRIGGGHT."

That's Webb Simpson on two. He was shouting "fore left" on hole one you may recall. Anyway, no disaster as he has a wedge left with his third from the right rough and this is a par five.

Brooks Koepka draws a ball, incredible trajectory, plummets into the bunker.

    Oosthuizen -9, D Johnson -7, Fowler -8 (3)

Rickie Fowler, AKA The Greatest Player Not To Have Won A Major, looks like he is going to go back to where he started on seven under. On the fringe, 14 feet, for par... beautifully judged.

Instead playing partner Dustin Johnson slips back after a bogey.

  12. Birdies!published at 14:37 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Poulter -9 (1) Schauffele -10 (1) Kuchar -9 (2) Harding -8 (2)

On the second - a par five - Xander Schauffele goes at the flag with his third and leaves a few feet for another birdie shout. Ian Poulter off the same tee... bunker....he wedges out but has a lengthy third shot. This remember is a big birdie chance and a hole they all look to exploit.

Don't tell Justin Harding that - he's making bogey here to drop back to eight under. What about Kooch? Birdie. Confidently strokes home a 10 footer. Xander's turn... tickles it downhill and in for back-to-back birdies.

  13. 'Absolutely nerveless'published at 14:36 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Iain Carter
BBC Sport golf correspondent at Augusta National

Francesco Molinari had a treacherous one downhill. His record of keeping the scorecard clean was put under stress as he slid by the hole by around 10 feet.

He had an enormously difficult shot. But he's absolutely nerveless. He made a par that will feel like a birdie. The hole could have swung by two shots.

  14. Pars all roundpublished at 14:35 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Molinari -13, Woods -11, Finau -11 (1)

Birdie putt for Tiger... a good shove up the slope, good length, line not quite right. Should be a formality for par...

Molinari has not dropped a shot for 43 holes remember. Now, I'd suggest, that record is in serious danger...

...what do I know. Clutch! Straight into the jaws from 12 feet.

  15. Postpublished at 14:33 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Molinari -13, Woods -11, Finau -11 (14:20 BST)

Molinari goes 11 o'clock with his approach on the first, whether he'll be grabbing a wedge or the putter remains to be seen.

Finau, meanwhile, dinks one high on the top deck and should be able to convert for a par.

Frankie opts for the short stick from the fringe... woah! A nervy putt sees the ball race past. A tough one back...

  16. Postpublished at 14:30 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Oosthuizen -9, D Johnson -8, Fowler -8 (1)

Pars all round for this all-star trio on the second. They are among a pack of 10 sleepers lying in wait for the leaders.

  17. Poulter pars, scores to be hadpublished at 14:29 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Poulter -9 (1) Kisner -5 (7*)

Ian Poulter over a long one on one. Brooks Koepka is in for par. Poulter would take that from here. Ball breaks right to left, not a bad weight at all and that should be par.

I can tell you American Kevin Kisner is three under for seven holes on the back nine. That shows you there are scores to be had on the way in.

    Poulter is in for par.

  18. Postpublished at 14:29 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Molinari -13, Woods -11, Finau -11 (14:20 BST)

"Get on there," shouts Tiger as he takes his second shot on the first.

His approach lands on the shelf of the top deck, before sticking on the reverse lights. Finau just about has a backswing, knocking short of the green. Safety first.

Tiger, by the way, is dressed in final-day red. In a mock turtle neck.

Remember what happened the last time he donned this outfit?

"Oh my goodness... OH WOW! In your life have you ever seen anything like that?!"
