It was up in the air whether we would see a golf major this year, but here we are on 6 August with the first round of the 2020 US PGA Championship in sunny San Francisco under way.

There won't be loud whoops from the crowd around the tees nor any "in the hole!" - which for some is a blessing - but we do have the world's best golfers out there on the picturesque Harding Park course surrounded by Lake Merced.

    So...

    • Will Tiger Woods win his first major since... last year?
    • Will it be a hat-trick for Brooks Koepka?
    • Will new world number Justin Thomas prove he is not just a one-time major winner?
    • Will we see a British winner of the Wanamaker Trophy?
    • Will Rory roar?
    • Will Tony Finau dislocate his ankle?

All this and much more will be answered over the next four days, so sit back and try to enjoy the chat.
