    Morikawa A/S Hovland (16)

I'm not quite sure how Morikawa hasn't gone one ahead there, with his putt tracking all the way and ending up just behind the hole when sliding by the edge.

Cling film over the hole could be the only explanation, but in any case it's good to see this match go to 17 - great contest this one.

  2. 'I fed off the crowd every shot'published at 21:27 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    3&2 DeChambeau v Garcia (F)

Here is Bryson DeChambeau: "He (Garcia) is an unbelievable player in matchplay and I knew it was going to be a tough fight. This golf course suits me pretty well but I was fortunate enough to shoot some good wedge shots and bombs, an eagle on the first. I am proud, there is nothing more to it."

On the crowd: "I fed off it every single shot, they were electric, it is an atmosphere you don't get very often but one you appreciate when you do."

  3. Johnson makes a movepublished at 21:27 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    2UP Johnson v Casey (15)

The race is now on to score the winning point for the USA, and wouldn't it be fitting if Dustin Johnson did it with his record-equalling fifth point out of five?

It's trademark DJ with a crisply struck iron that takes dead aim before the flat stick gets to work and strokes it home to go 2UP on Casey.

  4. Finau reduces Poulter's leadpublished at 21:26 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Finau v Poulter 2UP (13)

A wayward tee shot on the 13th ultimately costs Ian Poulter a hole.

While the Englishman has to pitch on to the fairway with his second, Tony Finau is able to go straight at the flag with his, zipping it to 20 feet and then draining his putt.

  5. This was how Bryson's day began...published at 21:23 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    3&2 DeChambeau v Garcia (F)

Watch as Bryson DeChambeau eagles the first hole after a "ridiculous" 364-yard drive on the final day of the Ryder Cup.

  6. DeChambeau beats Garcia 3&2published at 21:21 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    3&2 DeChambeau v Garcia (F)

Sergio Garcia manages to flick his outrageously awkward bunker shot on to the far fringes of the green, but he'll need to sink this putt to keep the match alive.

That was never dropping. Bryson DeChambeau whips off his cap in celebration! Another point in the bag for the US and they are almost home and dry...

Time for a Scheffler family portrait at the back of the 15th green.

Partner, parents and siblings all come close for a treasured photo. Xander Schauffele, who has just arrived, assumes position as the snapper.

  8. Hovland levels!published at 21:14 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Morikawa A/S Hovland (15)

I've said it before and will say it again, Viktor Hovland is a talent! He's managing to outplay Collin Morikawa in his iron play, and nobody's better with an iron in their hands than Morikawa, but he's been forced into making errors.

On the dancefloor, Hovland's started to make his putts now, as he does here with a finely judged 16-footer to make the match all square heading to 16.

  9. Postpublished at 21:13 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    3UP DeChambeau v Garcia (15)

Sergio Garcia hooks an approach left and watches his ball bound down the slope like a wheel of Double Gloucester at the county cheese-rolling festival.

It still finds a pesky bunker lurking below. They are everywhere.

Pop this on the dancefloor and Bryson DeChambeau has one protein shake-sinking hand on this point.

  10. Poulter wins third straight holepublished at 21:12 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Finau v Poulter 3UP (12)

It's a reflection of the score that Ian Poulter is pretty sombre after popping in his third straight birdie to take the 12th.

In fact he looks more like a man who has lost his wallet but given all that red on the leaderboard who can blame him

Precision stuff from both players off the tee to get into within seven feet. Poulter's putt dropped, Tony Finau's didn't.

  11. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    1UP Johnson v Casey (14)

Casey's applying some pressure now on Johnson who maintains his lead but the Englishman is really giving him plenty to think about in a high quality match.

  12. Birdie for Brooks Koepka and the US regains the leadpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    1UP Koepka v Wiesberger (13)

Brooks Koepka - with a long birdie putt down the hill to win the hole - and he has been relentless - he wins the 13th hole and edges back up in the lead.

    Back we go to red.

  13. DeChambeau 3UP with three to playpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    3UP DeChambeau v Garcia (15)

Sergio, Sergio. He pulls one back, he finds the sand.

It takes the Spaniard three shots to make the 15th green when Bryson DeChambeau is there in two. Garcia is faced with a lengthy par putt and it races by.

DeChambeau goes three up with three to play. Garcia walks over and jokingly prods him in the chest before they head to the 16th.

  14. Berger turns in controlpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    2UP Berger v Fitzpatrick (9)

Berger wins the ninth to increase his lead to 2UP, we've not seen much of this match but it looks like another USA point in the offing in what looks like being a huge record victory.

  15. Poulter wins back-to-back holespublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Finau v Poulter 2UP (11)

    Postmen clearly work Sundays.

Ian Poulter has a fine record in the Ryder Cup singles. Basically he's never lost and it looks as though he has no intention of starting now.

A mini-fist pump on the 11th greets a hole-winning putt, his second in as many holes. His approach on the 10th to six feet was different gravy.

  16. 'I expected him to fight and he did' - Cantlaypublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    4&2 Cantlay v Lowry (F)

Patrick Cantlay speaking to Sky Sports: "He [Shane Lowry] charged at me in the middle of the match which is what I expected.

"I expected him to fight and he did but I played really well and hit some nice shots coming down the last couple of holes.

"All the guys get along well. We are young and have played golf together since we were teenagers so it is great."

  17. Rare miss from DJpublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    1UP Johnson v Casey (13)

That must be the first time Johnson's missed a putt inside four feet all week - you don't see many of those full stop these days and the way he's played this week you'd put your house on him making that.

    Casey pulls one back.

Lots of respect and adulation shown to Jon Rahm as he chews the fat over that loss with his nearest and dearest.

The Spaniard hands mementos to some fans then chats to a few lads waving their national flag.

Scheffler’s dad consoles Rahm’s wife - “I feel for you” - then Phil Mickelson arrives to bearhug Scheffler and whisper congrats in his ear.

    All happening down here.

  19. Garcia keeps fightingpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    2UP DeChambeau v Garcia (14)

Sergio Garcia has got his money's worth out of Whistling Straits today, he's seen every spot of the course - some great scrambling from the Spaniard throughout, and again on 13.

He's up against a tuned in Bryson DeChambeau though, a man who's suddenly floating on the affection of the home fans.

Garcia is grinding though, keeping the fight alive for now and he takes the hole - he's back to two down with four to play.

  20. 'It was a lot of fun'published at 20:55 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    4&3 Scheffler v Rahm

Here is Scottie Scheffler: "I played very solid golf today, Jon has had a really solid week, I got off to a good start and really only made one mistake, on number 12, so very happy.

"I didn't really know what to expect on the golf course, overall I was just looking forward to getting started, it was a great week, the fans were wonderful, it was a lot of fun."
