Right, that's your lot from the 2023 Women's Open where Lilia Vu won her second major of the season to deny Charley Hull a first major of her career.

Hull says she's ready to go and "make my hands bleed" by hitting so many golf balls to fine tune a game that's so close to winning a major.

And if next year is to be her year then she'll be in contention at the home of golf as the Women's Open heads to the Old Course at St Andrews in 2024.

Now that should be fun! For now though, thanks for joining us and see you next time.

The new Women's Open champion Lilia Vu looked serene all day, but insists she was anything but as she let her victory soak in:

"It sounds almost unreal. I had a pretty tough run in the past couple of months. I didn't feel like myself for the past couple of months so I came in to this tournament, I sat down with my team and we wanted to be in contention. That's all we wanted and somehow this happened."

    What changed today?

"It just comes down to not thinking about winning. Playing one shot at a time. This golf course really forces you to do that. It really tests you. That was my only goal. Really drive the ball well and give myself chances for birdie."

How did you keep all the emotions in check?

"I was not calm, trust me. On that last putt that was all Cole, my caddy - he told me where to go."

  4. 'Just keep believing'published at 19:05 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

Let's hear from Lilia Vu at the trophy presentation...

Two time major champion - can you quite believe that?

"I can't - after the Chevron and how I felt afterwards, and just to be here today. I can't thank my team and my family enough for really believing in me. Somehow they helped me get this win here."

    Inspiring the next generation?

"Just keep believing. Write down your goals and have the best people around you to help you reach them and just never give up."

    Message to Charley Hull?

"I love playing with Charley. She's so fun to watch. I remember yesterday just looking at her crowd, I really wanted to play with her today. She's so great, so nice and she's a really great golfer. You guys watch out for her.

"This has been the best crowd I have played in front of. I will remember this for the rest of my life. I know they were rooting for Charley but they clapped for me too."

  5. Hull getting closerpublished at 19:00 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

Charley Hull may not have broken her major duck this week, but that's now the US Women's Open and Women's Open where she's finished second this season.

If she keeps knocking on the door, and putting herself into position, then one of golf's big ones will surely come her away sooner rather than later.

After she recently revealed she's been diagnosed with "severe" attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Hull seems to have found her best form.

A major is surely coming soon.

That's a second major title for Lilia Vu this season after she won the Chevron Championship - meaning she's collected both the first and last major of the campaign.

She's the first American to win two majors in the same season since 2000. And she did it with such a classy final round as well.

What a win that is for Lilia Vu, who matches the best round of the day with a five-under 67 capped by that tremendous birdie on the last.

The American had just one bogey today and was rock solid, especially on the greens where she didn't miss a thing.

Not to be for Charley Hull with a one-over round of 73 seeing her finish six shots back after the pair started the day both on nine under.

    Kim -6 (74), Yin -4 (76)

In the group before Lilia Vu and Charley Hull, early contender Angel Yin breathed a heavy sigh having finished with a birdie, bogey and par.

After a double bogey wobble on the back nine, Hyo Joo Kim closed her round out to finish in a share of fourth spot, eight shots off the lead.

And not to be outdone, Lilia Vu also rattles in a huge putt on the last to finish in style with a birdie!

That's a six-shot victory as the champagne comes spraying onto the 18th green at Walton Heath.

  12. What a finishpublished at 18:31 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

    Hull -8, Vu -13 (17)

Wouldn't you just know it! Charley Hull drains a monster putt on the last for a par!

That's a disappointing one-over round of 73 to finish but what a way to finish!

  13. Urghpublished at 18:27 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

    Hull -8, Vu -13 (17)

Charley Hull's escape comes out like a low rocket and thuds into the huge bunker guarding the approach to the 18th. That's not pretty from there...

The engraver's carving out Lilia Vu's name on the trophy as she bounces down the fairway. This is the time to take every bit of this in - it's a walk very few golfers have made down the years, walking down the final fairway knowing you'll be winning a major.

  15. Postpublished at 18:22 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

    Hull -8, Vu -13 (17)

Lilia Vu can't wait to get her hands on the trophy as she sends her tee shot on 18 away without a moment's hesitation.

That's what standing on the 72nd hole holding a five-shot lead will do for you - that must be such a nice place to be!

It's a tough end for Charley Hull who just slices her tee shot off into the trees down the right.

  16. Vu on the brinkpublished at 18:18 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

    Hull -8, Vu -13 (17)

Right, the smoke has cleared from the 17th green and Lilia Vu wastes little time in safely making par thanks to another nice lag putt and a tap-in.

Soon after, Charley Hull hits a nice putt but it doesn't drop and that's her fourth bogey of the day as she drops to eight under and five shots back.

Oh, hang on, Charley Hull plays a nice chip back onto the 17th green, but play is then held up as somebody enters the green with what looks like flares and security steps in to usher them away.

  18. Ewing bogeys lastpublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

    Ewing -4 (75)

Remember Ally Ewing? She held a five-stroke lead at the end of the second day before being pegged back by Lilia Vu and Charley Hull.

It was a torrid start for her on the final day - three bogeys on the front nine, and she had a chance to finish with a flourish but she knocks her par putt on the 18th just short.

She closes out the back nine with two birdies and two bogeys.

  19. Postpublished at 18:11 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

    Hull -9, Vu -13 (16)

Lilia Vu sticks her tee shot on the par-three 17th nicely on the green about 15 feet away or so, and that may have just broken Charley Hull who tugs her effort wide left and it bobbles off into the rough.

  20. Chance missed!published at 18:06 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

    Hull -9, Vu -13 (16)

Charley Hull doesn't get the read right for her eagle try as it never moved after she set it out to the right, so she has to tap in for birdie.

The lead is down to three shots but for just a few seconds though, as Lilia Vu taps in again to make her birdie and take it back to four shots with just two holes left to play.
