  1. How will Anthony Van Dyck fare?published at 14:48 British Summer Time 19 June 2020

    15:00 Hardwicke Stakes (1m 4f)

There will be plenty of interest in this one for Anthony Van Dyck, last year’s Derby winner, trained by Aidan O’Brien and ridden by Ryan Moore

He marked his seasonal return with second in the Coronation Cup at Newmarket behind Ghaiyyath and Moore hopes he will come on for that run.

Last year’s winner Defoe is back again for Andrea Atzeni and Roger Varian, who is enjoying a successful week so far.

And Jim Crowley will be hoping to add to his winning form with Elarqam who finished behind the impressive Lord North at Haydock last time out.

  2. "He is all speed"published at 14:47 British Summer Time 19 June 2020

The Lir Jet wins Norfolk Stakes

The Lir Jet's trainer Michael Bell: "When he won at Yarmouth he won easily but today he had to learn how to race and that bodes well for the future

"He is all speed and will definitely get six furlongs but not much further

The sire won on soft ground so we were hopeful about the ground. He's one of those lucky horses who goes on everything."

  8. Can Frankie claim victory?published at 14:23 British Summer Time 19 June 2020

    14:25 Norfolk Stakes (5f)

Another sprint, this time over five furlongs for two year olds. And could we see another flying Frankie Dettori dismount?

He rides Eye of Heaven, trained by Mark Johnston and an impressive short-priced winner at Newmarket on his only start.

But The Lir Jet is a big danger after a speedy win at Yarmouth earlier this month and he is a son of Prince of Lir who won this race four years ago.

After the win at Yarmouth, The Lir Jet was bought by Qatar Racing and will be ridden by champion jockey Oisin Murphy.

Trainer Martin Meade told the Press Association: "There's no future trying to repair it, so we'll have to make alternative plans for him now. Hopefully he can go to stud, but I'm afraid that will be his last race."
