BBC Sport in RioAfter that minor disappointment for the British pair in the men's double sculls, we now have Norway's Olaf Tufte in the next heat alongside partner Kjetil Borch.
Tufte is a 40-year-old competing in his sixth Olympics as he aims to win gold medal number three. Even if he only makes the podium, he will join a select band of five male rowers, including Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Matthew Pinsent, who have won four or more medals at an Olympics.
Tufte and Borch have just finished second in their heat and are safely through to the semi-finals.

BBC Sport in RioRussian shooter Daria Vdovina - who finished fifth in the women's 10m air rifle final - was happy to stop for an interview, but didn't have much to say on her country's participation at the Games.
When asked whether she'd been nervous over the last few weeks about whether she would be allowed to compete, she replied with a firm "no".
And what would it mean for her to win a medal for Russia when she competes again in the 50m event on Thursday?
"I would be proud for myself and for Russia. I'm always proud to compete for Russia."

It was a really gutsy fight to try and push Italy for third place but Great Britain's John Collins and Jonathan Walton will have to go through the repechage if they are to make the semi-finals after finishing fourth.
Azerbaijan gave New Zealand an even better fight for first place, taking it to a photo finish - with the Kiwis just sneaking victory.
The first three boats make it through to the semi-finals, with the bottom two dropping into the repechage - Cuba finished last to join the Brits.

They look like they have the measure of this breakaway.
The lead remains at five minutes.
Never mind the maths though, look at the geography.
There has been a cobbled section as well to put some vibration through the field as well.

BBC Sport in RioNo problems with capsizing for Britain's Katherine Grainger and Vicky Thornley in the doubles sculls as they finish second in their heat to reach the semi-finals.
They were given warm congratulations by the Great Britain fans, who look like the most numerous contingent so far and have had a successful morning from their point of view.

Double Olympic Rowing gold medalistThis could be the difference between Katherine Grainger and Vicky Thornley believing they can get a medal and delivering on a medal.
What they’ve done now is they’ve let Lithuania have a mental edge on them.
Right now the only positive they can take is they’ve got the boat speed, but not the endurance.

BBC Sport in RioEarly assessment - and let's stress early - is that Brazil hasn't yet got the rugby sevens bug. The crowd inside the stadium here In Deodoro is noisy considering how humble it is in size. One stand is well populated, three aren't.
France just hammered Spain 24-7. A good contingent of French here. Team GB's women are up in half an hour.
Zero coverage on any stand so if you've not brought a hat it's a big error.
