Women's road race
This will be an incredibly bittersweet moment for Anna van der Breggen, who collects gold, but her fellow Dutch woman had an awful looking crash while leading the race.
We'll let you know when we have more on her condition, fingers crossed she is OK.
Women's 3m synchro final
After the first round of dives, it is Chinese pair Wu Minxia and Shi Tingmao into the lead, as expected. They scored 55.8 with their first dive.
GB duo Rebecca Gallantree and Alicia Blagg are lying in joint third on 49.8 points.
A medal on the cards?
Women's road race
Mara Abbott ran out of puff right at the death. The three chasers sprint past her and Anna van der Breggen of the Netherlands beats Sweden's Emma Johansson to the line.
Italy's Elisa Longo Borghini secures silver and American Abbott ends up fourth without a medal.
It looks like Lizzie Armistead has crossed in fifth.

Mara Abbott is going to be caught...

Chris Boardman
Olympic cycling champion on BBC TV
“At the current rate of attrition, Abbott will be caught on the line, so it’s going to come down to guts and heart – how much does she want it?”
Women's road race
The chasing trio can see Mara Abbott down the road, Copacabana beach under cloud to their right. The gap is down to 10secs with 1km to go. Too close to call.
Women's road race
Sweden's Emma Johansson and Italian Elisa Longo Borghini are with Anna van der Breggen trying to hunt down Mara Abbott. There is a gap of 20secs with 2km to go. It's going down to the wire.
It seems Armitstead is too far adrift.
Women's road race
American leader Mara Abbott has come out alongside the beach and is off towards the final stretch. The legs will be stinging - a gold medal is 4km away.
Lizzie Armitstead has drifted slightly from the chasing pack, which includes Dutch woman Anna van der Breggen.

American Mara Abbott has a 35-second lead at the front of the race with 6km to go. The group behind her is about to swell with Lizzie Armitstead set to join them. Can she hold on?
This is going to be an amazing finish.

Annemiek van Vleuten looked in bad shape after that crash. Really hope she's OK.
Here comes Lizzie Armitstead! Closing in on the silver-medal chasing pack...
The women's 3m synchro final is about to start, with Rebecca Gallantree and Alicia Blagg going for Team GB.
The pair won Commonwealth gold in 2014 but they will do well to pip Chinese pair Wu Minxia and Shi Tingmao for gold.
Wu is aiming to become the first diver to win five Olympic titles.
Women's road race
That crash for Annemiek van Vleuten means American Mara Abbott is now the leader.
There are three riders 40 seconds behind her - they were chasing bronze but now they're looking at silver. GB's Lizzie Armitstead is chasing them down.
8.4km to go.
Andy Murray 6-3 6-2 Viktor Troicki
Andy Murray to serve for the match at 5-2... and he clinches it.
He was so strong on serve in that set - he didn't lose a point in his second serve until his fourth service.
After a scare in the very first game, when Troicki broke for the only time, that was a very impressive performance from Murray, with everything looking in good working order.
Oh my goodness! The leader Anna van Vleuten has crashed! She's come off on a turn and it's a horrible fall.
Women's road race
Buckle your seatbelts. This is going to be a hell of a ride.
The riders are on this hair-raising descent that saw male riders come a cropper yesterday.
Dutch woman Annamiek van Vleuten has sped off in front ahead of American Mara Abbott.
Lizzie Armitstead meanwhile is trying to chase down the group of three riders behind them and wants to get in the bronze medal mix.
Gymnastics
Good news! Ellie Downie is back in the gymnastics arena and warming up for the vault. Fortunately, it appears she had only a cautionary check on her neck after that fall.
Women's trap
Australian Catherine Skinner secured gold in the women's shooting trap final at her first Olympic games.
Skinner beat New Zealand's Natalie Rooney 13-12 in a closely contested final.
Corey Cogdell earlier won bronze for the USA after a shoot-off with Spain's Fatima Galvez.
