Deep, deep down, this referee wanted to be a WWE superstar. This is a textbook wrestling clothesline on the Spanish player.
Men's 100m backstroke
Watch GB's Chris Walker-Hebborn qualify for the 100m backstroke semi-final.
He finished third in his heat and qualified 10th overall.
Andy Murray 2-1 Viktor Troicki
That's more like it Andy.
A stunning backhand pass and some meaty ground strokes get Troicki to 15-30, but then Murray takes charge, three comfortable points and we've got a held service game.
Women's 400m freestyle
We're into the last of the morning session heats for individual events on day two at the Olympic Aquatic Centre.
Britain's Jazz Carlin goes in heat four of the women's 400m freestyle.
And watch out for Katie Ledecky of the United States, too. She's the big favourite for this event - no surprise when you consider that she's over a second and a half faster than anyone else in the world this year...
It's a very promising first day for British shooter Ed Ling in the men's trap.
He's sitting in second place in qualifying, after three of the five rounds. The last two rounds take place tomorrow and the top six go into the semi-finals.
Fun fact: Ed is a farmer and will head off back to the UK as soon as he's finished in Rio to start this year's harvest.
Women's road race
We had a long lull in terms of action on the road. Chats were had. Drinks were quaffed. Mini games of ludo were perhaps played. It was non-thrilling stuff.
But Audrey Cordon of France has livened up proceedings by making a move off the front of the peloton and she's been allowed to escape.
Meanwhile, Dutch former world champion Marianne Vos shows she's no prima donna by collecting a set of bottles for her team. She shoves a couple down the back of her jersey and then regroups n the peloton.
We've got 52km remaining - about 90 minutes.
What you've missed, what to watch
Andy Murray 1-1 Viktor Troicki
Troicki to serve, Murray takes the first point, Troicki on the attack, excellent defence from Murray and the Serbian misses a drop shot! 0-30.
Opening for the Scot now, another error from Troicki, three break points...
Good first serve, Murray can't return, one saved. Ball back in play, but Troicki in control, Murray with strong, scrambling defence, Troicki with an overhand for the point... long!
Murray breaks back straight away!

Andy Murray 0-1 Viktor Troicki
A ropey start for Andy, break point in his first service game at 30-40 - saved with a scorching first serve.
Double fault! Break point number two. And he has broken him!
Troicki takes the first game and that isn't the start the Wimbledon champion was hoping for.

A nice tradition forming on Centre Court where the winners sign three tennis balls and ping them into the crowd. Serena Williams working her audience after her win; low chip to the front rows, then more oomph for the fans on the other side, spectators begging for her to aim their way.
Next is defending champion Andy Murray and the Wimbledon champion receives a warm welcome as he walks on to this huge court.
Women's 100m breaststroke
Great Britain will be represented in the semi-finals of the women's 100m breaststroke, as Chloe Tutton's time is enough to qualify 12th fastest.
No such luck for compatriot Molly Renshaw, though. She's out.
The semi-finals begin tonight at 02:29 BST.

Being at an Olympics is a joy and opens your eyes to practical things that must be organised which may have never crossed your mind.
For instance, everyone has to eat right? All the volunteer helpers share a canteen with military where food is free. Here's one, but there's one at every sport, so that's 11 canteens here at Deodoro alone.
And what about clothing? The volunteers have khaki shorts or trousers and a selection of shirts in yellow, green or red. Every single one of them has the same trainers.
Someone has to think about these things.
Women's road race
All the breakaway riders have been towed back in and we're all back together again. Lizzie Armitstead goes for a jaunt to the front of the peloton as they embark on the penultimate climb.
We're getting no clues as to whose going to win this one yet.
There's 59.1km to go.
Andy Murray v Viktor Troicki
Murray is so universally loved he's able to rouse a "massive" cheer from an empty stadium.
Is there anything that man can't do.
Men's 100m backstroke
Camille Lacourt of France has qualified fastest from the heats in the men's 100m backstroke, in a time of 52.96 seconds.
GB's Chris Walker-Hebborn will also be in tonight's semi-finals, having qualified 10th.
They're back out at 03:12 BST to go for a place in the final.
Men's single heats
Confirmation that Aberdeen's David Florence, the world champion, tops the standings after the first run ahead of Slovakian Matej Benus and Poland's Gregroz Hedwig.
Rowing
After today's high winds the rowing has been rescheduled for tomorrow.
All of the GB rowers that were supposed to be in action today will now row tomorrow.
Helen Glover and Heather Stanning will begin their defence of their pairs title from 16:30 BST.
Fiji 1-3 Mexico
Oh dear, that didn't last.
Fiji were on to cause one of the upsets of the tournament at half-time, leading defending champions Mexico 1-0.
That door has been firmly shut, although Fiji do have 25 minutes to stage a remarkable turnaround...
