    Men's final: GB v Fiji

Speaking of Ben Ryan. Here's something worth noting about the London-born Fiji coach.

He bans alcohol consumption during tournaments - and breathalyses his players to make sure they're not having a sneaky tipple.

    Iron fist coaching, that.

See the red-headed chap at the back of this picture?

You've probably assumed he's not Fijian - and you'd be right.

He's Ben Ryan, the England sevens coach up until three years ago, and the man leading Fji's charge towards, what will now be, a first ever Olympic medal for their nation.

Ryan has coached Fiji to back-to-back World Sevens titles and he's somewhat of a celebrity ion the rugby-mad island.

Could he be set to scupper his home nation's golden hopes?

    Men's final: GB v Fiji

    Sir Clive Woodward
World Cup winning rugby union coach on BBC TV

It was a colossal performance from GB against South Africa in the semi-final. They are excelling themselves. GB will be the second best team against Fiji but the have a real chance.

The most important thing is to try and get rid of the atmosphere. It's another game of sevens. Fiji are not the quickest - they amazing footwork and skill. GB have more pace so there's various ways the can win it.

Also it's 10 minutes each way rather than seven so they can show they are fitter.

If we can keep the ball away from the Fijians we can definitely win it.

That was a demolition. South Africa run in eight tries to win the bronze medal, beating Japan 54-14. Rosko Specman scored a hat-trick and Cecil Afrika and a couple. Japan have Springbok footprints on their backs.

Next up, Great Britain v Fiji in the final...

High fives and fist bumps galore for Andy Murray and Heather Watson, as they clinch the first set 6-3 against Spain's Carla Suarez Navarro and David Ferrer.

However Jo Konta and Jamie Murray are trailing in their doubles match, after Americans Jack Sock and Bethanie Mattek-Sands took the first set 6-4.

That was unbelievable. I know what it feels like to be in Callum Skinner's position and he dealt with it in great fashion. He's worked so hard to win his place in the team - he did that and there were all kinds of doubters.
